Like you, I switched from Del Norte to Primitivo because I waned the solitude of the mountains and kinship with the others wanting the same. The natural beauty of this Camino is enchanting…and oh my the clouds were the most spectacular I have ever seen in my life. Soon I will post my video to share with world a little bit of what I saw. On my Primitivo walk, I met peregrinos from 24 countries, 21-82 years old. Words cannot describe the feelings I has. Ultreia!
Those mountains behind are the “Sierra del Cuera” and “El Sueve”. If you cross them you will reach another place of pilgrimage: The Sanctuary of the Virgin of Covadonga, and where the reconquest of Spain began. A place of pilgrimage that together with Fatima, and Lourdes are the most important of the Marian veneration.
Thanks for sharing your video - Definitely enjoyed seeing your Portuguese walk with your sons on Instagram - So looking forward to those videos on You tube
I love your videos. You have really captured the spirit of the Primitivo. I just walked it in October 2023. Your videos bring back great memories. I hope to walk the Norte in the spring.
I'm really enjoying your videos! An incredible journey in so many ways, right? I look forward to doing the Camino - hopefully in the next few years. Now I just have to decide which one! The del Norte and Primitivo would be so beautiful - and would help me avoid some of the crowds, while hopefully still getting the whole pilgrim experience. :)

Thank you, very interesting commentary. Glad you are feeling better today. Really enjoying your walking adventure, and your humming.
Thank you 🙏
You see, you go through a town far from everything and find paintings by Vermeer and Velazquez. In Spain we are all rich.
Nice to see another video after so long. Looking forward to seeing your Primitivo vids!
Thank you for watching! Primitivo vids are coming soon! Thank you for all this encouragement!
