Dropping another comment for people who are comparing options sincerely:
I grew up in North (Chandigarh) and lived for almost a decade in Mumbai before moving to Canada. Here are the Pros and Cons after living 7 years in Canada (Montreal):
    Pros:
    1. People have civic sense, public places are safe, secure and not over crowded. (Comparatively)
    2. Access to nature, parks, places and everything. The feeling of breathing fresh air and sitting on green grass is irreplaceable.
    3. Work life balance, Canada wins in that hands down 38.75 hours including lunch hour. It’s a bliss if you compare it to 50 hours that I had to do in Mumbai.
    4. Passport, once you have it. It opens the world to you for easy travel.
    Cons:
    1. Weather, always on the top. Winter depression is a real thing. There are not just days but weeks of -15, -18, -22, -30 which is harsh!!
    2. Support system: no one to bring hot chai, samosa or vada pavs lol, or to pick up your kids from school or to look after you in your good and bad days. You are own your own with your tiny little family and few friends that you can count on.
    2. Community- the festive wave is almost cold, cold as Canada’s winter lol. indian Festivals come and go and nothing much changes around us in terms of vibe or cheer.
    3. Taxes- life is mainly about staying up float by taking care of bills, maintaining a credit rating and trying to find happiness in small things. Examples, there is a yearly fee even to retain your driving license. Property tax after paying EMI, insurance of house, insurance of EMI. School tax after property tax even if you don’t have kids. It’s all true :) believe it!
    4. Ease of life, there is no ease of life, every thing is so integrated in the system that at times it feels all robotic. In India, you would talk to someone randomly and you will find a connection. Here, ppl fear to share details because of the fear of frauds or what not!
    5. Health care is free but it’s almost inaccessible, it’s better to pay but have an access in need.
    6. Outdated processes, there are no same day blood reports delivery or blinkit to make things happen for you in a jiffy. It’s all about making and taking appointments and waiting even for small things!

I came to Canada on PR in 2018, I am a citizen now and I can confirm that system doesn’t let you have it easy to start with and even if you get a start, they suck the money out of your pocket with taxes!! I would not recommend anyone moving to Canada because I personally feel that Canadian dream is officially over. India is doing a lot better, explore tier 2 cities and get a good life.
I am at the stage where I often reconsider my decision. I am trying to convince my partner to move back to India, let’s see how long would that take :)

You are right. You can get part time jobs for survival but its difficult to get 0,1,2,3 Teer jobs on PGWP which is required for PR.

Right Sister, my reasons for not going to canada is cold weather for long period,
medical services are better in india,
you need car to save time, public transport takes a long time, and crime, theft is increasing in canada.
The economy is going down, Life is very easy in india compared to canada.
    I m going to dubai.
It's best for me because dubai feels like modern india without problems 😂
    🙏

Good info. I was in Canada for 2 years and came back for good. I’m born and raised in Mumbai with a great exposure. Luckily I didn’t do any low wage jobs there. Now I’ve much better job here and able to afford things which I couldn’t there.
PS. Delhi walo ka accent kitna annoying hain 😂

No way!sorry you are so wrong at certain points, you just said Delhi people ko you won’t suggest! Girl Delhi people already have a lot of exposure it’s not like Delhi people can’t work without having a lavish environment (people know how to adjust when it comes to career)and we all have seen students of age 18-25 working harder who are living away from family either in flat/pg in india

No prachi you dont need to agree to her.. you rightly said that delhiites wont be able to adjust which is true because people born in delhi are used to that lifestyle of delhi which is not anywhere related to “ slogging off “
This is mostly for people born and brought up in delhi not immigrants coming to delhi from other cities.
