Having been here for 20 years, it's been one of the mildest Christmases I've had here. Often it's 38 or 40C on Christmas Day. I also feel your bitter sweet feeling. I've not had Christmas with my family (all in the UK) since 2009. It's been with friends or my ex-in-laws. And Christmas here is biggish, but it's the kick off of summer holidays, not a bright magical light in the middle of winter darkness. Frankly I know just plough through it and enjoying sumner!
We have just received our visa, will be moving to Perth hopefully around April/May time, loving your videos, getting a real feel for the area just from your posts, keep them going
Hope you enjoy Aussie Christmas! We are sitting in soggy and damp Ireland and dreaming of the Christmas sunshine we had in Aus! I have a nosey question, so please tell me to mind my business if you don't want to answer 😁 Do you guys see yourselves staying in Aus for keeps? Have you simply fallen in live with the lifestyle which the UK, although family are there, just can't compete with? Happy Christmas 🎄 and happy new year! 😊
Which visa have you guys applied for? Merry Xmas by the way! If it helps, I haven't been home for Xmas since 2013. Sometimes you just have to form your own traditions and let the homesickness feelings flow through 💕 It will get easier 🎄
We’re applying for the 190 visa ☺️ thank you very much, that’s just it we need to find our own traditions and I’m sure when I have a chaotic family Christmas again I’ll be looking back longing for a quiet one spent on the beach with a good book!! Happy new year, hope you have a great one x
Hello, Just a quick inquiry, first thank you for your Videos, second thing I wanna ask about is there taxes will applied to the blogger or the youtube content maker in AUS, I appreciate your response, Thanks
Overall, no I don’t! I find there’s plenty to do, particularly in the warmer months I have no problems at all keeping busy & happy. In the depths of winter is the only time I struggle as I find generally a lot of the things I like to do are outdoors based. That said, in winter if it’s not too wet I love being able to go on hikes etc which it’s often too hot to do in summer!

Hi there, I’m afraid I’m definitely not an expert on this so not comfortable advising, sorry!
I just have one question....did you plant the herbs??? To be honest, they were a bit past it I think 🤣🤣🤣.
Hahahaha, I thought I’d let them ‘bed in’ to their pots a little more 🥴 I think I should give up / start again, maybe…

Do you not find Perth boring to live in? There’s not really anything to do

@@CatLScully yea that's a fair point Have you lived in Sydney or Melbourne before? How do they compare for you
I haven’t, but funny you should ask. I’m researching for a video on exactly this topic, so keep your eyes peeled!!
@@CatLScully I’ll keep my eyes peeled for that video! But yea I get you, thanks for getting back to me!
