It has been wonderful seeing how you are using your standard-sized TNs. I'm grateful that you are clear about not loving to have to date your own planners. I have thought a few times about getting undated inserts because I *think* I like the idea of the flexibility! But in reality, I worry that i won't enjoy setting it up! As for the Traveler's Company sticker pockets, i use them but instead of attaching them to the leather cover, I attach them to the accessory inserts.
Ive definitely been struggling with my planners since last year. Ive bought more planners this year than any other. I think because I have so much stuff to use I think I have to use all the planners. But I finally said forget all that. Go back to basics. I went back to a hobonichi cousin and a hobonichi weeks and thats enough for me. The Cousin i track my bills and spending in the monthly section, I use the daily pages as an hourly and a small note about my day, and I use the weekly section as a menory planner. I use the daily pages to see what I want to memory plan. I use the hobonichi weeks for my work planner and the grid pages as a fitness/wellness planner. And that is enough for me
Loving all your videos 💛 i been struggling as well with all my journals and planner. Too many options i suppose, and i just want to use it all, and thats not possible of course.
Well done! I recommend keeping flucose with your diet: there will come a time when a nutritionist can help hone in more than your medical doctor, and having all the data together will be helpful to both of you.
I’m a primary care doctor, and I went to a well regarded medical school in New York. We are taught over and over again that good nutrition is essential to good health, but are taught literally NOTHING about nutrition itself. There’s not a single day in med school or residency where anyone sits us down and teaches us about healthy eating. We are trained to refer to registered dietitians, though! 😊 I try to give basic advice during an office visit, but in the 10-15 minutes per patient we are given, it is much easier to prescribe a pill or give a generic handout. In my prior job, we had dietitians/nutritionists and health coaches on site, which was fantastic. Now I just hand people a referral and pray they have the time and energy to find a dietitian their insurance pays for. 😢
Hi Robyn, i always use everything TRC, i love everything, including the pockets. I also use the clips, very functional! I hope everything gets better for you ×
After struggling with those sticky pockets lol I actually E6000 that bad boy down. Yes I completely n utterly ruined the inside of the cover if this pocket is ever destroyed however… that lil thing isn’t going annnnyyyywhere lol
I swapped planners back and forth for the first three months of the year and now I'm at 1) WORK: TakeANote A5. 2) JOURNAL: Sterling Ink B6 notebook. 3) PERSONAL: Sterling Ink passport horizontal weekly booklet for date-specific tasks and 260pp passport grid notebook for daily notes, project pages, and brain dumps. What had been stressing me out was continuing to try to plan out tasks that don't all need to be done at once or require me to be "in the mood", and resorting to a scratch pad on my desk to gather thoughts which then had to be rewritten in the planner. A small format plain notebook for "dailies" lets me label a page as "Garage cleanup" or "food prep ideas" and not commit that I have to do those tasks on a specific day. I can also have random to-buy or to-watch lists interspersed. Like a bujo, I guess.
Good to 'see' you again Robin... I am so sorry to hear about what you've been going through. Hoping that something fulfilling comes your way soon!
Maybe a Chic Sparrow b6? (for the cover) There's good stuff in the Overstock section
