Of course. Leave it to The Tools at Google to not notify a true supporter of a new video! Either way Paul, Thanks for teaching me a new technique!! I think this is the first fast water set I've ever seen. (Besides a dam break.) You caught Winona!! Lol
I am so amazed by the country & terrain you have to play in, brother!! Just gorgeous down there!!!!! I bet that river holds some nice Trout in it... Looks like it would anyways!
Thanks for sharing Paul! Lots of winter up here in Manitoba still. Be another 5 weeks before I go after spring beaver/rats. Have u ever tried using floats for 330's? May work good on your river systems. Started using them 2 yrs ago and love them.
Love your videos! I have a question, I’m in Idaho I just went through my trappers education and have a stream I set a couple traps in for beaver. Set 3 traps and caught 2 male beavers the first night, I pulled the traps because I don’t want to over trap the area… but how do I tell? Within a mile run of this stream there are several dams and a few bank dens (I’m certain there will be more I find once the ice melts) smells of castor all over. Lots of fresh feed beds and big cotton woods they fell this past fall (when I found the dams originally) How do I know when I’m starting to trap out the area, as I want to be able to take some again next year from this spot. And how do I tell if it’s multiple colonies? Thank you so much!!
But you forgot to say one thing how you’re doing that is not the right way the beavers are supposed to be drowned not alive right I just wanna make sure I’m not catching them live
That's up to your preference. I like mine drowned so I don't have to wash blood off, some guys who are wanting the meat to eat would rather them be alive so they're not eating a beaver that's been dead for potentially a couple days
You are very well schooled!!! Should I say self schooled talent!!
Awsome vid great catch.

Each location is different. You’ll have your learn that. Hopefully not the hard way
But you forgot to say one thing how you’re doing that is not the right way the beavers are supposed to be drowned not alive right I just wanna make sure I’m not catching them live

I like them drown also. Just so happens this one got the rod out of that rocky bottom. Nothing is perfect.
Have you heard of the long chain method?
