Spinning / Flow forming simulation - FORGE®

Flow forming and spinning are methods of shaping a thin product which rotates around its own axis of revolution by deforming it with one or more rolls. We distinguish the flow forming where we change the thickness of the piece or where we deform the sheet by limiting the variations of thickness. Flow forming enables also to form a repetitive print in the inner surface like tooth internal gears.
