- This is my second day in Taiping, Perak, Malaysia. In this video, I explored the beautiful Lake Garden in Taiping. The giant old rain trees 🌳 and the serene lake are awesome. It was a wonderful experience to walk around and enjoy the tranquil ambience of this Lake Garden.
I also explored Larut Matang Hawker Centre, one of the most popular local eateries in Taiping. This hawker centre has over 100 hawker stalls under one roof, serving all sorts of hawker dishes across many ethnicities. I tried some local dishes, and it's not disappointing. It's a must visit for foodies.
Taiping is often missed by tourists because it's not as popular as other big cities in Malaysia, but I can tell you Taiping is definitely worth visiting. It's one of the hidden gems in Malaysia 💎

Taiping is actually a decend place to visit. Its so peaceful has good food has few attractions and people are so welcoming and provide good hospitality

Taiping was my most favourite town of my 3 weeks solo travelling in Malaysia and Singapore.
I love the parks, the people, and the delicious local food there 😊

Actually Store 63 in larut matang hawker center is the worst Fried Kuew Teow I have eaten and here writing this as a Taiping Local.
