The monologue in class was so ridiculous I had to ignore it just to keep reading the fic. He seems to love the sound of his own voice. I got secondhand embarrassment reading Naruto's dialogue. I was getting into this story until the part about the Q&A he allowed the graduating class came up and him explaining his life to a bunch of kids who think he's a useless annoyance, and that uchiha-san was fucking ridiculous, at best. Author might as well call this a crack fic. Like, how is he getting anbu-level equipment and with what money? How is he sorting hundreds of hours of mental exhaustion with just one hour of meditation? How is he working on reflexes and muscle memory with shadow clones when that's not how muscle memory or reflexes work? Author just shit on the story just making things too easy. So if that's your Naruto from this fic, well I'm out.
