    I would think it would be logical to improve shoulder extension. How do you determine who needs extra shoulder mobility vs those who don't?

      It's all based on looking at them as a whole, look at their ROM, joint mobility, soft tissue mobility, etc. I would say extension is not a movement that we focus on much. It's the end range of motion, one that isn't used much during functional activities. I don't think you ignore it if obviously limited, but I wouldn't force extra extension ROM.
