think of the most horrific scenes in some popular horror movies. Jason Vorhees, Michael Myers, Freddy Kreuger, Predator, Aliens etc. etc. now, we all know those are all fictional and none of the brutality is real...until it was. the attack of the Osweic Fortress was literally a real life horror story that you warn your bad kids about. 100 russians, literally falling apart, coughing up their own lungs, bleeding from every part of their body etc. charged into an army of 7000 german soldiers (70:1 for ease of explanation). initially, they likely weren't to surprised when one or two of their own were killed as it wasn't out of the norm for at least 1 or 2 stragglers often lived before succumbing or being taken out by the germans themselves. that was, however, until 100 of them charged them and, given their horrific appearance and shambling like movement, the germans were mentally thinking that they weren't fighting the russians, but instead ACTUAL zombies that had risen from the dead. this was enough to make them all tuck tail and run. after all, how do you kill whats already dead? the answer's simple: you can't.

I have seen them live twice. The second time, this song was just released, so they performed it that night on stage. 😎👌
