  • I purchased these two Dollar Star Notes from a low print run on Ebay. I paid approximately $6 for each note. I love finding special currency and cash to share with you guys to help show you what is out there to purchase and maybe even find in your next bank strap or change (if you pay in cash).

I got two 1995 $2 bills strap hunting from 640,00 runs. They are so hard to find unless one buys them outright.

Bill Stotts Glad to see your familiar face and I am also happy to hear you found a few of those beautiful rarities roaming around out there.

I found a 1976 Richmond in UNC star the other day from strap searching. The J, I, and E 1976 notes are the keys. The Richmond one has a run of 640K and it’s also the total amount printed which is typically more important than print runs. I’ve actually been to independence hall. Fabulous place. Thanks for sharing!

I am jealous. I always wanted to see the building (Independence Hall) where it all occurred. What a great find with the Richmond star note (especially Bank strap searching). Yes, a star note from a district that had only one run (640,000 or less) are the notes that make my heart skip a beat. So glad to see you on my channel again Silver Surfer.

@@ExpatriateAmerikaner thanks bro! I was stoked to find that. I also was able to see the original John Trumball's painting scene on the back of the 2 dollar bill. It's housed at the U.S. Capitol building.
