Madagascar is famous for being the meeting between Asian sailors and Bantus, which formed a unique population. Do the inhabitants of Madagascar look "mixed" or do they look like common Bantus?
Ever take the bus ride around town? It's quite fun yet don't bring your camera to the bus though. Plenty of pickpockters around the area... Already lost my phone as well as digital camera while riding the bus... ;-) But the interactions of the locals make up the measly inconveniences.
Freeze each facial expression and you see no joy. Life appears hard for these folk who, let us not forget, could be any one of us under different circumstances. Great walking experience as if I were there.
What do you think about a tour in Asmara, the so called Little Italy ... I guess it has that same atmosphere and surroundings of the cities you had walked through

Hi nice video I did a walkabout video the other week in Tana, I do business in Toliara but live in Nosy Be, be sure to go to Mangily while you're in that part of Madagascar. If you are going to Nosy Be on you're trip hit me up and I will give you a room in my house to stay if it helps.
thanks for the kind offer, not sure if I will be in Nosy Be this trip. I'm planning to go to Mangily maybe on Tuesday or Wednesday for a day or 2. Any hotel recommendations there?

Town center Antananarivo is a nightmare to walk around, constant noise, a lot of pollution , no good sidewalk for pedestrians , too many people, streets extremely dirty, a lot of car traffic. the air quality is dirty.

when the cars arrive in Madagascar, the new owners have a certain period of time to change the plate. these have certainly just arrived. keeping foreign plates is punished by law. I like African or Latin countries with mid-sized coastal cities. Madagascar has that. Was also looking for a French speaking country. 3 weeks in DR, iit was ok but I prefer Africa.
this place looks so cool, i cant wait to visit one day and have a look around
Thank you for being such an excellent 'walker in the city.' Looking forward to your next upload!

It depends on the time at which you take a walk😊 I guess @PaulDouglasDembowski ´s video was taken early in the morning

Nice City
Is Madagascar generally safe to travel? Appreciate your response :)
The capital: Antananarivo is considered a bit sketchy at night. But the town I was in (Tulear) felt safe day and night.
It's a very well-put-together city for such a poor country.
how long is your stay in Madagascar? I want to meet and probably work with you if it’s possible 😄
Toliara is my hometown
See you

I always wondered that myself. I remember living in the Philippines..never saw local men in shorts even when it was brutally hot.
