I've read through a few of the comments, and I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise that people born way after the song was released aren't familiar with it until they hear it in a TV show. Nothing wrong with that. I've discovered great new songs through hearing them on TV shows. But don't assume no one paid attention to it until now... it was a huge song -- a total hit -- when it was released back in the mid-70's -- when I was a teenager. One of the under rated TV shows. I love supernatural.initially i watched only for the dashing looks of the lead actors but soon i fell in love with the characters.we can so much relate to their emotions. there is always a lesson in the series. i love the attitude the characters take up the challenges and live through.this song fits the story perfectly !

All I pray for, for Sam and Dean is the peace promised in this song. I adore this show, have watched it since the pilot in 2005 and when I couldn't anymore because of homelessness and an eventual apartment, I caught up and will watch it till the conclusion. Jensen and Jared are the men, imo and i love them dearly!

+Heidi Hameed If you need to work many Part time jobs... then that is what it takes! Employers respect people who work hard. You can do it, and you will do it! Go to a local library and read Dave Ramsey books on how to turn your life around. Your Life Turn Around will Exceed Sam and Dean! You need to Lead others into success. Seriously, work several jobs including Delivering Pizzas.. Flexible hours and the Tips are not taxed. (I pay a minimum of $5 to the delivery guy.... what like he can't deliver 4-6 pizzas an hour.. $20-30 in untaxed cold hard cash an hour. In addition to other jobs?). Get stable and go to a Tech School.. Guess what they are not hiring people with a Masters or PHD in comparative basket weaving... they are hiring people who can fix/repair/operate high tech equipment. Yes the Liberal/Communist Universities will take your soul as they charge you six figures to get a degree in comparative Communism... but no one is hiring them.. that is not a real job. But if you know how to repair/Operate/Design/ or Repair a modern piece of equipment... you will be hired! We need trained people who know the hows and whys of modern Manufacturing and the Repair and Operation of the Same. Do Not Be Afraid! Many of us worked 40+ back in high school while we were going to school. The backbone of America is Trained Craftsmen, Techs, Operators, Maintenance and Design Engineers! Not Touchy Feely Academics!Sluggo
