In the UK, you only win a seat if you win a constituency. In Clacton for example, where Nigel Farage won a seat, they received 20,000 votes. They way it works in the UK is that you only have to get 1 more vote than the party after you to win the constituency. So for example if Lib Dems got 15,000 votes in one city but Reform received 15,001, Reform would have won there. Lib Dems for example got less votes overall however they came 1st more times than Reform did, they did do pretty well in a lot of constituencies, however only came 2nd and 3d. Hope this explains it

Thank you, Dr. Peterson, for putting such a spotlight on the issues we're facing in Britain with your initiative and the prominent figures you've been hosting on your platform. You gave me a new perspective in my mid-20s in 2016 when I stumbled across your lectures and your book Maps of Meaning while searching for material to understand myself and others. You have had quite the character arc, sir, and have remained steadfast in your commitment to your exacting principles. It's a formidable burden to carry. As I've paid attention over this nearly past decade to the increasing scope and weight of the goals and challenges you have confronted, you have earned my awe and deep respect for that. So once again, I sincerely thank you for your contributions and bravery. I hope that I can continue to learn and mature in much the same manner with my own exacting principles, such that one day I can be a potent force for good in my own sphere of life and my community.

He's a grifter! Grifted off the EU, now doesn't do his job as a n MP for Clacton. Spends more time in the USA. Now, he can't name any real benefits form Brexit.
Can you imagine the wolds greatest thinker Mr Peterson up against Kier Starmer? This was fantastic to watch and shows Nigel is more intelligent than many people give him credit for, hence why he stands way above the rest of the establishment.
Labour are set for the largest landslide in UK political history, reducing the tories to make 150 seats, most reform trolls are Russian and Reese mogg is 10 points behind labour in his own constituency
@@RightWing1Nigel's take on Ukraine is awful, he thinks the EU provoked Putin in invading Ukraine. Nigel even said at one point that he admires Putin. I personally don't think that Nigel is exceptionally intelligent, I think the assertiveness and charisma in which he expresses his populist rhetoric is what makes him to be perceived as distinctly smart, by mostly right leaning individuals. My suspicion is that he's appreciated by a good portion of people because they see in him the only hope to clamp down and possibly reverse immigration. I don't think he's actually appreciated in large part by any of his other particular stances. If he decides to announce tomorrow that he will not restrict current immigration policies then a good portion, if not the majority of his fans/followers will no longer support his politics.
@MagnaCarta-b5q It does if you're trying to sell the English way of life to others on a text-based comment thread. So, I think we can safely dismiss your authoritative input.
I wasn’t going to vote at all until Nigel took over as leader of Reform UK. Nigel Farage talks the same language as ordinary British people, and also sees clearly that our country has been hijacked. The majority of British people are naturally not racist people. In fact my father was an immigrant himself that was asked to come to the UK after WW2 by the British government. I will be voting for Reform UK as they are the only political party that talk common sense and are willing to stand up for ordinary British people. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧VOTE REFORM UK!
You think saying "up the RA" is how ordinary British people talk? The man is a con artist and an absolute failure. The only reason why he is still relevant is because of xenophobic people and his bank balance.

Don't be taken in by the easy rhetoric of an overheated 80s city boy, a glorified used car salesman. Farage and his mates don't really care about immigration or sovereignty, they just want to roll back on worker's rights and roll back the state. They care about markets/profit, not housing security.
He is by far one of the worst ambassadors for us and if you genuinely think that then take a look at yourself and your values, you don't end up looking much better

never say never, mate. the way i see it, we went far to the left. now we are trying to go to the right. but if we keep steering that way, we will end up at the polar opposite, and that's also bad. center is best. of course, being "centrist" in name only, like the tories, is what got us here in the first place.
What really gets me about Net Zero is the fact that China builds a coal-fired power station every week and it goes unreported and completely ignored. What does that tell you? (There's more than one answer.)
i know they are doing it but they are also investing more in renewables than any country on earth. They seek world domination and want to get ahead of America but the long plan recognises reality. They're damn clever these Chinese, Biden may mess up his words but he has launched the biggest programme of renewable energy in American history. It's the only way to go
I've been completing the courses to implement this and I can confirm it's a hoax. We haven't reduced anything, we've just moved it to China, this has 2 effects on the economy in that we are now completely dependant on other countries for the energy production but also pushed the financial income to those areas, which is why China is growing like no other.
It tells you that China doesn’t care about the Net Zero goal because it doesn’t improve productivity and therefore GDP. China only cares about globalisation and becoming the economic superpower.

More than 4 MILLION people just voted for Reform, they only won 4 seats in parliament...
why was that i dont understand

China's a huge country, and they build a lot of renewables for their own benefit on top (allegedly)
