- I was so excited when Kim Kardashian announced that she’s bringing back her makeup line. Her lip liners were/are incredible. I have backups of my favorite shade. Unfortunately, SKKN by KIM did not “WOW” me. For example, the eyeshadow palette looks neutral with cool toned eyeshadows online. In person, the shades pull more yellow/orange on my skin tone. Not a fan. The soft matte lipstick was a complete fail. Instead of blurring my lips, the lipstick exaggerated every single line and the color is another story. Overall, I was let down.

I was really hoping by now we would have perfected the retractable pencil and that is all we get!
Those prices are ridiculous. Is it just me or does that palette look really cheaply made? Maybe it feels better quality than it looks

Just out of pure curiosity- What do you do with all of the makeup that you tried and don’t like? I’m sure over the years you have ( or had) quite a large amount. I just usually buy drug store makeup and I did have some that didn’t work for me. I ended up throwing most of it away until my husband was a drama coach. He then took my makeup and used it for the school plays. Are you planning on doing anymore Culture foods with Emmoret? It ALWAYS amazes me on how he will try different foods!!! Also will Miss Elodie join him for the foods?? I would LOVE to see her reaction!!! 💕💕💕

Let’s talk about the tones of the lipstick 💄 this time… yuck 🤢 don’t work for my olive skin..- too warm. Orangey tones don’t work and for fair people it don’t go either. We need better options for that price!! 😂I’ll skip!
Mario has a new pallet release and, to me, looks just like KK’s. It also cost $50.
Mario’s formula is incredible and buildable and he uses skin tones.

I wouldn't purchase this eyeshadow pallet as there would be only a couple of shades that I would wear and therefore wouldn't be worth purchasing in my opinion only.
I have a colour pop eye palette with these colors from a mystery box for $49 . Lips the same ! Colour pop has many of the dupes . Both Kim and Kyle lips products are similar to colour pop. Honestly probably made at the same place 🤔🤫🤯

People keep saying Kim's products are expensive but around 20-25 dollars for a lip liner and around 30 dollars for a lipstick is on par with other brands. And I'm talking like Nyx, etc. I still wouldn't buy Kim's stuff because I have those colors in pretty much all the makeup I own. I don't imagine her makeup works any better.

Agreed the lip line did not look good on you. I am not familar with the shades she carries, but I would think it is more for darker/olive skin tone similar to her.

First, it's her job to try makeup. Second, she earns her own money! It's been decades since women had to worry about a husband "allowing" a partner to buy things.
