Well done! We were in Twillingate about the same time and were lucky to see nearly 2 dozen bergs, from a boat of course - this perspective is amazing and gives an idea what's under the waves. Good job.
Thanks a million for the compliment, Mark... sincerely appreciated! And yes, I'd certainly have to agree, there were a lot of beautiful bergs in the Twillingate area during that time. I can imagine the boat trip was amazing; I really wanted to take one, but unfortunately just ran out of time. Thanks again. Mahalo!
Thanks! The wind was actually quite calm, which is a rarity for most of Newfoundland, but especially the Twillingate area. Flying a DJI Phantom 3 Advanced; over 200 flights on her now. But she's a beauty... great drone. Enjoy your trip there... there is A LOT of beauty in Newfoundland. So much to fly. Icebergs should still be around for you... they are especially fun to capture with the drone. Cheers!
just imagine when you see these giant ice burgs only 1 tenth of the total mas is sticking out of the water you don't want to be right next to those giants in case it starts to roll over it can look stable but don't fooled they weigh in the tens of tons per square yard
Thank you for the comment... sincerely appreciated. Will have two more drone videos of icebergs in the "series", the footage for which was filmed last weekend over a 24 hour period in Newfoundland, Canada. And thanks for subscribing; will reciprocate. Cheers!
Amazing video! Have you ever heard of the drone sharing platform AirVuz? Your video is awesome, and it would be really cool if you uploaded your video at AirVuz.com! Also it's free and very easy. I believe your video is so good you'd have a serious chance of getting featured!

Great flying, how was the wind? What are you using? I'll be there in two weeks with mine!

When was this shot? Thinking of coming in Mid June this year.
Hey there! As I recall, it was shot in late May last year.
