Hi Rory, what is the extra information in Model Documenter compared to Vertipaq Analyzer metrix in Excel file? Does the Model Documenter grab info of what Measures and Columns are used on specific Page of the report? Does the Model Documenter extract info on the label that has been used on the top of the measure in a visual - I mean for example we can have measure name [sales yoy] but on the visual it is labelled as [% yoy].
Hiya - I'm afraid I think I'd have to relearn this whole area, although it is nice to see that there is a useful tool out there to doccument things with. I wouldn't expect that the model would deal with renaming of measures - the objects are pretty tricky to work with as they can't be named themselves as far as I'm aware.
No problem, it doesn't get a whole lot of views, not a huge surprise, but it is a really amazing solution considering that most people never document their PBI models.

Have you tried Power BI Documenter by Data Vizioner as well Rory?
Thanks Timothy - I haven't but by all means drop me out a link to this.
