Jade is coming, another legacy like Rick. Thunderbolt, finally after we heard that slight laugh when Courtney put the pen on her desk. Wish fulfillment’s coming. I've said a couple times during S1 that S2 should have Obsidian who like in the comics is Green Lantern aka Alan Scott's son and Jade’s twin brother, play by Glee veteran Chris Colfer. But someone responded that he's busy with his writings. So how about 13 Reason Why veteran Tommy Dorman since Ross Butler is in Shazam. If they can't make Tommy look younger like a teen high schooler (29 now, 27-8 while filming), then college will do.

Well as long as those shows (Stargirl and Superman & Lois) are partnered with HBO Max they will keep this style. As for the others, they will be looking like any other CW show.

Stargirl isn't even in the Arrowverse technically, it's just a CW show that gets roped in with the rest, and so if the other shows get cancelled it won't need to give a damn about them.

Wow Thunder looks really good. Jim Gaffigan voicing the character just perfect casting. Jonathan Cake's Shade entrance looks so good. So much happening in this trailer. The fight in the house between Jade and Courtney Whitmore as Jade uses her lantern ring as she is holding the lantern battery on the other hand was great.

Shade being a villain seems a bit iffy but with them all standing there like they were something tells me he knows there’s no point in trying to take over the world when you have competition as massive as Eclipso.

I really loved season 1 about to dive into season 2 this series is great!
This season is gonna be awesome, I thought it would have that same feel like the first season and I was right, Thunderbolt looks cool, Green Lantern's is a good fighter, The Shade looks intimidating. I can't wait to see this show, but I also can't wait for the flashback episode with Jay Garrick (John Wesley Dodds) .

Jade is the only obvious choice for the New JSA's Green Lantern. Yes there is Obsidian, Alan's son, but he's not really green so he's more of a Black or Shadow Lantern if anything.

They pretty much scrapped that version of him. He’s back to being the OG version (edit: I have been made aware that the main universe Alan Scott is gay now)

I might just get back into this show. So many good things about the first season, except Stargirl's personality, terribly written, self-centered, narcissistic and entitled, which was annoying because everything else was good, the actress choice as well was good!
Yeah Courtney is quite annoying sometimes but I don’t hate her character despite her personality and I don’t think it’s terribly written as she is a teenager and she’s acting like one I mean Rick,Beth,Yolanda all have their moments where they’ve been quite annoying but bear in mind they are teenagers so it makes sense.

Well I am not from USA, so maybe there is a cultural divide here that I am stumbling on, but for me this was next level. Either way, the actress was good, perhaps they went in that direction so that having her "grow" into a hero will be easier, hopefully =)

No, this is the daughter of Alan Scott, the first ever Green Lantern but that has no ties to the Oa Corps.
Alan is a member of the Justice Society of America.
He got his powers from a magic force of the universe called the Starheart.
Alan's ring works kinda the same but it releases a green flame rather than will energy like the more well known GLs.
His daughter Jenny under the codename Jade can also tap the Starheart energy via a birthmark on her palm, and normally her skin turns green.

This definitely feels like it’s gonna be a “self discoverance” or a “journey to find who you are” type season which I’ve no interest in watching but I’m still gonna just to watch green lantern
isnt that normal since the show is dealing with teenage superhero's its a coming of age story
even season 1 can be considered the beginning of that sort of story for all the cast.
I think thats what makes the show interesting for me since the chracters will grow and chance over time.

So stargirl can use green lantern but diggle is not allowed to be green lantern on screen. That's stupid. They had plans for green lantern diggle but had to change them because of Warner bros and HBO max doing a green lantern show. Not very fair. Still at least the cinematography still looks good.
