Thank you for the idea. IMO this needs to be much bigger. In fact I think the blade(s) needs to be much bigger in order to be effective at cutting grass. They also need move a lot faster as well. All of which will increase you power consumption.

I have thought of using the Li-ion battery (12V) for this project, is it suitable... 3. I am using the microcontroller (Arduino UNO) for this project... I dont think so, the battery drains quicker. Its not quite sustainable. Although I assume it could maybe charge up over the day.
a good concept but the design not really suit the function as lawn mower. Look at the cutting area. very small comparing to its body size.
Perhaps a larger plate with blades would be suitable, yes 🤔

either using obstacle sensing or by making a boundary using marker wire
