Got to see Johnny 3 times , the last time was 2 weeks before he passed away , and yes , his fingers still moved and he jammed that place . I have not seen Edgar , but I do have hours and hours of tunes from the both of them , more Johnny . Loved Johnny for over 40 years , and will until I'm no longer here !

Johnny plugged directly into an amp, no fancy electronics.

Johnny picked the guitar and Edgar took everything else.

Edgar recently did a grammy winning album paying tribute to his bro, called Brother Johnny. It has guest turns from a slew of people incl. Joe Bonamassa, Keb Mo, Johnny Lang and other guitar greats. Worth checking out.

Sweet Sixteen featuring Joe Bonamassa would be a good one to react to from Johnny Winter final album Step Back, great reaction

Check out the over 17 minutes live version by Edgar Winter's White Trash, on their "Roadwork" album. This time it's Rick Derringer on guitar. Peace.

Seen Edgar in the early 2000's in Long Beach California by the Queen Mary.
He was playing Frankenstein and it started to rain and he ROCKED even harder. What an amazing day that was.

Edgar was singing playing the hammond b3 organ and sax. Johhny was playing guitar and is also a great singer, he's the older of the two.

Johnny and Edgar were Albino's, and due to the brightness of the sun, they were legally blind outside. They learned to play by their
father and were kept inside their home for protection. Both are musical guises. They took the term "Blue Eyed Soul" to a maximum
level. I saw Johnny Winter twice in the early 1070s - he killed it on every song. Thanks for paying Tobacco Road.

I urge you to listen to Johnny Winters self titled album released in 1969. I am a long time fan of his saw him multiple times in the seventies and eighties at various venues from concert halls, outdoor arenas and intimate clubs. My first LP of his was his Still Alive and Well. Johnny went back and forth from blues to rock and his guitar playing was fast and fluid. But my favorite from his is that self titled ‘69 album. His vocals on that are real Delta Blues sounding and together with the guitar work is to me just amazing blues few can touch. Try songs: Dallas, Leland Mississippi Blues, Be Careful With a Fool, When You Got a Good Friend or I’ll Drown In My Own Tears which he does not play guitar but has amazing vocals.

You should do a reaction to Johhny performing Bob Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited. Just a note: Tobacco Road is a 1932 novel by Erskine Caldwell about a dysfunctional family of Georgia sharecroppers during the Great Depression. I read it. A great book

Johnny was one of the greatest Blues guitarists ever. He, Jimi Hendrix, and probably Eric Clapton were considered the three elite Rock guitarists of all time. Jimi would be at the top of the class, and the others wouldn't disagree.

I agree that they are considered to be some of the greatest, however Jimi himself said that Terry Kath from the group Chicago was better than him.
