The ATtiny needs to be in a programming circuit like the one in the vid to be (re)programmed. Easiest is to install it on 8 pin mounts so you can swap them out easily. The programming board should also have an 8 pin mount. You can use the video above to make your own dedicated programming board, the one I made straddles the Arduino and has 4 pins on both sides. One set connects to 13, 12, 11, 10 of the Arduino. The other set of 4 pins goes into Reset, 3.3V, 5V and Ground (I don't actually use the 5V pin). It will look crooked as the pins don't line up exactly due to a gap on one side, between pins 7 and 8. I have the ATtiny mount and the cap in between the sets of pins, all connected as in the video. If you're gonna use the ATtiny in more projects, it's well worth it to make your own dev board, rather than rebuilding the circuit on the Arduino every time.

I used uno rev 1 fail, uno rev 2 fail no programmer identified. Used Tiny Programmer instead of uno on IDE 1.6.4 n finally got it to work. Curious which Uno and IDE is used in the video
