It's a shame that the old and terrifying Camanito has been tamed and turned from a place of life affirming daring into a pleasant stroll for old ladies.
+Vot63 I agree with you. I did the crossing in the middle 70´s. Only with climbing gear & sleeping bag. It took three of us two days with vibak included. It was Glorious.

Qualche anno fa volevo fare questo cammino, ma ora che ho visto cosa è diventato ritorno sui miei passi e rinuncio....Peccato non aver potuto godere dell'originale spirito di questo percorso....
+Claypolenato sur Estoy de acuerdo contigo. A mediados de los 70´s junto con dos compañeros hicimos la travesía en dos días. Solo con material de escalada y sacos de dormir. Fue una experiencia Gloriosa.
