    Beautiful and healthy garden. What did you use for fertilizer and what pesticides did you use to keep your rose plants looking so pretty and healthy from pests?

    I have you to thank for my own Crystal Blue salvia and they are indeed the highlight of the show right now - I’m somewhat near, east GTA. My father who doesn’t care too much about gardening has even asked for me to plant some “blue spikey things” this summer for a little more impact next year 😊

    Tracy, even though you had hail damage to your gardens, everything is still looking lovely. Hopefully, you'll still get lots of gorgeous blooms. Thanks for sharing your beautiful gardens with us. ~Margie🤗💐

    Your garden is beautiful Tracy! Everything looks pristine even though you did mention a bit of storm damage to some of your shrubs. Please share in a video what you use to keep all of the insects, black rot & fungal issues from destroying your roses. Seems like everything I plant has something attacking it. 🪴💚

    What a beautiful garden! We just moved (2 years ago) from Scarborough to Lindsay, and are just getting our grading so that I can start gardening (finally)!
    I now have lots of new ideas for my front garden!

    Your clematis is beautiful, and I had a plant that, in hindsight, I realized something was eating the lower portion of the plant. Unfortunately, I dug it up and tossed it. I didn't think to chop it back.

      Tracy! I was just watching your nursery tour and noticed a tag you zoomed in on state to shield the base of the plant from full sun. I didn't do that but at least now I know and will remember that in the future! Thanks!

    I enjoyed watching your garden tour, very informative and your garden is so beautiful! I noticed the hanging baskets are already full of blooms, are they winterized from last year? Could you share how you winterized them?

    • @TracysHomeGarden
      @TracysHomeGarden  Рік тому

      No, the baskets I bought. I did winterize some plants but they didn’t do well. Kalibrachoas like 6+ sun and they didn’t survive.

    Hi Tracy, the garden is looking beautiful as always and I’m in love with that new columbine (pink/white). I would like to purchase some seeds from you. I’m in Pickering. Let me know and I’ll send my details. Thanks so much!!

      The seeds I collect may not give the same variety of columbine.

    Hi Tracy, how do you keep your beds weed free? Would love to know your weeding and mulching routine. Do you have landscape fabric under that mulch and do you use a pre emergent?

    • @TracysHomeGarden
      @TracysHomeGarden  Рік тому +1

      Hi,
      I actually don’t have any fabric and I usually mulch my garden beds (except for this year). I don’t think I have much weed in the front garden. I do have plenty weeds in the back garden in the spring…many come from behind the fence…many emerge from runners that creep up from the ground. 😞
      I think the key to “less” weed garden is to plant thick and also do a quick check up on the plants (once a week) to hand remove any weeds. Other than that I don’t do anything special - I don’t use any chemicals in the garden for weeds.

    • @arsalanmasud
      @arsalanmasud Рік тому

      @@TracysHomeGarden some great advice. Amazing that your garden looks so incredible without any chemicals.

    Bunnies have eaten my coral bells and my bleeding heart bush as it was trying to re- appear this spring.

    • @michellehull
      @michellehull Рік тому +1

      Eat the bunnies😂

    • @persephonespomegranate
      @persephonespomegranate Рік тому +1

      So interesting - I have the most bunnies I’ve ever had in any of the areas I’ve lived and they don’t seem to touch my bleeding hearts or heuchera. Huh. I guess I have offered them up an even tastier buffet elsewhere in my gardens 😂 Many broken shrubs and chewed up plants this spring, the rascals.
      And the dang squirrels decapitated every yellow tulip. Just the yellow ones. They didn’t eat the blooms, just “off’ed with their heads” 😂 it was a tulip slaughter house one morning when I awoke. Apparently my neighbourhood critters have it out for all things yellow. Duly noted.
