Adopt stoicism. Practice it every day. Watch yourself grow from incapable and despairing to an unshakeable renaissance (wo)man. Feel the harsh journey become effortless over time. Start loving your fate rather than rueing it. Swear off distractions which cloud your mind or make you act in a way you know deep down isn't right, and allow your true nature to guide your actions.

6 months ago I experienced total burnout at work, which 3 months later led to the ending of a 10 year relationship I'd been in since university. I was rock bottom. Fortunately for me I discovered this channel and aurelius especially shortly after. 3 months on and I am calmer, happier and engaging more with life than I have for years. I have renewed many friendships, switched jobs to do the same work, far fewer hours and no unpaid overtime, I have begun to write creatively again and am taking much better care of myself physically and mentally. Tha k you for the work you do Everyday Stoic, it certainly helped me find peace in a dark time. May '22 bring anyone reading this fulfillment and joy, with the strength to endure what you must. It does get better.

Thanks you so much for these videos. I listen to them everyday. I have an addictive personality and usually the things I choose are destructive for me, I’ve managed to apply my personality to reading and listening to stoic philosophy everyday, I listen to these videos 8hours out of my 10 hour days just driving these ideas and philosophies into my head until I slowly embody stoic traits. When I quit listening to and reading stoic philosophy I fall back into my miserable tendencies. Nothing quite fills me with joy then focusing on stoicism! So again thank you for these videos

The teacher that writes it's lessons..will be master of his mind...and the pupils will be the refining fires of such knowledge.
The only thing wrong with theology is the Master "teacher" will always demand it be a pillar and never the stone under the foundations. Time continues and "life" changes with ever student and master. Eventually the new is to come to the old and the old becomes the warmth of light and not just the reflection of what we choose to see. Be the Stone under the earth and under the foundation...it's the truest crown of Master!!
    -Word?-Love
-Objective?- To know all things and to cast them aside
    -Goal?..Just smile! 😊

Thank you 🙏👑 This is very well put together. I've been listening to a lot of audios for long while, and hadn't found one I liked enough to help guide me during sleep. There's something about this one though..... The quotes are spaced out, and gives you time to digest. The music isn't overbearing. The vocals are well recorded and mixed. The speaker doesn't veraggerrate and ruin the mood. And every quote is a BAR as it should be. Plus it's not too hype, or filled with soft ass lovey dovey affirmations. It's affirming but still talks that shit and gives it to me straight. ...so in other words we'll done and thank you...🙏👑
