Your carnival is spectacular! I just love the gravel mat and painting it made all the difference in the world. I was happy to see your assistant, Angel. I am sure she did most of the work🤣🤣🤣
As someone who also tends to over think things I totally get and appreciate your process lol. Also, putting the base coat of paint in a spray bottle is absolutely GENIUS and I will be doing this from now on! I always learn something new and helpful from you. Thanks for another great tutorial! 🎃👻
That was a lot of fun! End result, fantastic! Love when the planets collide within your brain’s solar system.😄. Thank you for another great tutorial and video.
It's so much fun watching your videos. I don't know where you get the time to do all you do. A special thanks to your dad for giving you all those awesome pieces. I know first hand they all add up to some big $$$$. Ever think about adding a train to your village???? I focus more on the trains on my UA-cam channel.
I would love to add a train. Department 56 has several pieces that are train cars that connect and light up, but it’s not actually a working moving train. I have three of those pieces and would like to add more. But yes, one day if I can get a Halloween themed train, I would love to add that to my collection!!
I. Hear. You. 85% of every village is trying to have a divine intervention on my brain-resulting in hopefully a workable idea. 10% building; 5% nipping and tucking at the end. I’ve never found a sure-fire way to kick ideas into high gear 😿😿
Many of my Lemax houses and accessories come from Michaels. I get both Lemax and Department 56 on Amazon, and I have gotten many retired pierces on eBay. I’m always on the lookout at thrift stores as well. I haven’t had luck with Halloween pieces but I’ve gotten Christmas buildings and accessories at thrift stores and yard sales. Americansale.com is also a great place to purchase Lemax buildings and and accessories.
I store all of the buildings in their original boxes. And then I store those in my attic according to theme and order of setting them up. I always start with my Bayou and haunted hill section so I make sure that those are the last I put away each year so they can be the first I grab the next year. I have large plastic bins for the storage of my accessories, and I store all the accessories for each section together and label the bins with the name of each section. I’ll often store any trees, light fences, moss, that I include in each section in the appropriately labeled bins as well, but then I always have extra bins of all of those items also. Storing an organizing definitely is not my strong suit and it always seems to be a little chaotic both at set up and take down no matter how well I plan.
Outrageous!!!! What a sensational display - mind blowing!!!! Your creativity is really, really amazing!!!! Well done!!!!
Thank you so much! The carnival is such a fun section!
That's my girl!!! That's what I do every year too in February actually for that fall season that's when I start. I'm glad I'm not the only 1LOL 😊😊😊
Yes!! We’ve got to start early to make all our plans a reality!
