@@hippobreath3703 Exactly but I wouldn't share your perception of what an AAA game is. When I think of AAA gaming I think of Ubisoft, Blizzard or EA and all the companies that put the majority of a budget into marketing and customer's manipulation not gameplay. The games you mentioned hardly qualify as AAA and the Dawn of War series which maybe comes closest to an AAA production already shows its intention with its huge list of dlcs and a third installment that got dumbed down and dropped again quickly after not meeting the high financial expectations of the publisher.
One small detail I really liked was the Ultra Marines bantering about how the Cadians' will make short work of the threat. Implies that the Astartes have some sort of respect for the Guard and more importantly, Cadians.
Given that Cadia broke before the guard, I would say that respect to their resolve would be pretty high among the astra militarum and adeptus astartes much like ol' bale eye beating an ork warboss with one arm
As someone who is not a fan of Warhammer, what made the biggest impression in this game was the real feeling of weight on everything. From the structure collapsing, to the character walking and jumping, and even the bullets. It looks promising, let's hope they will deliver.
Yea, everything but the transitions from one character animation to the next. When he gets jumped from the side and slices the enemy in half, it's literally the model plopping from forward stance to forward stance but turned right. Same with transitioning from chainblade to shooting, it's a completely instant switch.

I hope so too! There was a moment in this video where one of the Space Marines says "sending to auspex" Auspex (correct me if I am wrong) is in a Space Marines helmet and is part of the HUD, Titus would not be able to see it without a helmet :D

Q4 Winter, most likely November or December, could be sooner which would be great, but looking more towards late year. Beta drops soon, so most likely, full release will be a month or two after. Rumours that Helldivers 2 is releasing in October, keep us busy until Space Marine 2 drops.
I think you will be able to make custom charactera for the game modes outside of the story campaign and I'd be surprised if they didn't let you put a helmet on. Titus and squad are main dudes so obviously the get the no-helmet-plot-armor.
I actually wish more "shooter" devs would realise and see this Method of gameplay is still appealing. Not everything needs to be open world. Some of the best 3th person SP shooters were on the ps3/360 and were linear. Bring this back
I wish the guards would reacted in awe and shock as the Ultramarine passes by them, I think it is very rare occasion for a guard to see a space marine. It would have been cool to see that

Sadly this is one of the games that never got brought over with backwards compatibility. There are actually a ton of other games like Wolfenstein 2009, Call of Juarez 1, Godfather, Quake 4, Turok 08, Stranglehold, The two transformer games in cybertron, Wanted, Homefront, james bond games, The saboteur, Jericho, Alone in the dark, Naughty Bear 1/2, Sonic 06, Aliens Colonial Marines (lol), and the mercenaries 2. Those are just some of the games I keep next to my Xbox that are not BC @@CommanderActaeon

In the last Xbox One backwards compatibility update, Microsoft added Too Human back to the Xbox Live store for free. (the full details of this games downfall is insane, worth looking it up, like in the "What happened" youtube series.)
A bit gutted Mark Strong isn't back as Titus and the framerate is a bit spotty. But overall it's looking pretty good. The world detail is excellent (not just in terms of fidelity, but design) and the combat looks sufficiently hefty. All I hope is that the game launches well optimised and that Leandros gets his teeth kicked in.
I haven't been this excited for a game since Doom Eternal - This is above Starfield for me but starfield and armored core is all i've got to pass the time for this game to come out

some events don't have an audio feedback: the statue that has been thrown ahead, the gigantic bell that falls down, and other little impacts and interactions that seems "mute"
The audiomix is generally pretty rough in all footage we've seen. This is very in- development footage though, I'm sure they'll fix it as many people have commented on it
I’m so stoked for this. Just coming off Boltgun and started Space Marine 1 this weekend, and very excited to see the Tyranids up close and personal like this. Even if this is just a silly action game that’s fun to play, it looks awesome. FOR THE EMPEROR!
I will probably pre-order as soon as I see multiplayer gameplay. I adored the first games campaign, but that multiplayer kept me coming back over and over

The chain sword is like a cross between gears and berserk. If he does the anime run with the sword im gonna lose it with joy. The first was so underrated. Glad i still have it and my 360 still works. Also glad the main character returns. The ending left it up in the air. Then again i dint think they planing on making a sequel. Guess they had to leave it a little unsure. But got my collector’s edition paid for. Cant wait.

The more colorful armor vs the more drab motif of the original games will take some getting used too. Other than that, Gears of War is looking as good as it always has!

I hope they add progressive damage and blood stains to the character throughout missions depending how much you get hit. It would be cool to finish a mission will tons of scrapes and cuts on your armor while being stained with blood.

I seriously hope this game does well, we need more Warhammer 40k in AAA games.

Future Soldier is a major statement to that. 3rd person, linear shooter and still easily the best of the franchise.
