Thank you so much! I did not realize I had many Indian viewers, but it seems like it. Maybe I should organize a workshop in Bangalore next time I visit!
Hi, Jelle - I loved the bonsai travelogue! I love India and the views of the huge trees were amazing. I also smiled at how you blagged your way into the Bonsai Garden and had a guide! 😊
This is amazing seeing these trees in their natural habitat. That is awesome you got a personal tour by the curator of the bonsai exhibit. Very cool seeing their collection!
Ficus is a VERY fast growing group of plants in the right climate. It is why I wanted to show these full grown trees. Most people in temperate climate do not realize this. Unfortunately, it was not holidays, but work that got me there. I just used a few hours before flying home to visit!
If you don't saying for comparison's sake, Jelle, how tall are you? And thank you for showing the full ficus trees out front there. I kept thinking some of their bonsai ficus looked out of proportion, but wow, they really weren't. How generous they were to give you so much time and attention!
Was as amazed by the airport as by the trees!
Exactly why I included it. It was so cool!
That was incredible to see the true tree size for Ficus. I loved that multiple rock planting near the end. Thanks Jelle
Interesting how people here do not seem to realize the size these grow into!
Beautiful garden and soothing indian classical music
:D
This was a nice surprise, thanks!!!
Glad you liked it!
Wow, Bangalore looks fabulous! Love those massive ficus trees!
Such an amazing city. A little loud and busy though :)
Heartiest welcome to India, Jelle Sir !

Thank you for the lovely short tour. India is an amazing place with such different climate and culture as I have in the USA.
It really is!

:) Yeah, I really have been looking for a moment where I could show big ficus!
Me? I am an average height for a Dutch guy, at ~1.90 / ~ 6ft 4inch.
Nice sir
Thank you!
Thanku for that unexpected treat, Jelle, a real ‘eye opener’ from start to finish. God bless you 🙏✝️. ✌️🇷🇺☮️🇺🇦✌️. ✌️🤍🇮🇱🤍✌️
Glad I could show you a corner of the world which is not a regularly seen area!
👍👌🙂
:)
Next time you go to India, head for Kolkata. It has the oldest botanical garden in Asia and the largest ficus in the world.
:) I should indeed! I have had it on my list for a while but never been able to reach!
👊👊👊👍👌
:)
Diese Ficus sind elefantös😂😅
Das sind die, genau!
