- Some switches came with bent pins, but it was easy to bend back and maybe i was just unlucky. Other than that switches are quite nice, just as described in his video.

yeah, you dont expect the sound because it's going to sound like other cherry switches. Only the feel is different

Plastic boards aren't meant to make switches shine, 90% of the time you'll be able to achieve deeper sounds by stuffing it with foam and that's about it.
These switches are great in any board that has it's own sound profile.
That depends, a nice roomy case like the NCR80 can do wonders for certain switches, especially if you’ve got no mounting plate. BOX Jades sound nice in a platelets NCR80

Was it difficult to pull keycaps out of these switches? I think there was a fear going around that the stems are basically the same as MX Clears, which had nubs. This nubs cracked keycap stems because of the tight fitment.
I've not had any troubles. Although I've only removed the spacebar since I put in the mx purples
these do have nubs sadly, cherry said to both glarses and geon they wouldn't cause trouble with keycaps but it appears there has been no change to the clear stems in both mx purples and ergo clears at all so either cherry is somehow unaware of the issue or that was a lie
I just got mine yesterday, and yes it's noticeably much more difficult to take off keycaps or even put them on the switches. I had to use two keycap pullers to get the spacebar off, and the keycaps are on very tight. Currently using a GMK set that I don't care too much about, but I wouldn't trust it on a set that I like a lot. All that aside, I really like the sound profile of the switches, I think they have a slightly longer spring, and they come "factory lubed", just wish there was an option to get non-lubed.
How does the profile of the tactical bump feel? Like is the bump long like the boba and is there much pre/post travel? Thanks for posting
the bump is snappy and there feels like there is a decent bit of post travel.

I've never tried them but I've heard the are comparable. But tbh I'm not sure
i was thinking of getting a set, however i was wondering how much of the RGB would be blocked. especially with pudding caps
My rgb is none existent pretty much. Even with a white back plate but I guess I'm lucky I'm nit much of an rgb guy

I don't really hear a scratchy sound but it can feel slightly scratchy unlubed but no one types slow enough to notice it for it be a big deal. I'm not really sure what you mean by scratchy sound

spacebar could be better because it sounds hollow, I recommend shoving some polyfill from pillows into the bottom of the pcb or put foam
True bro. I just tape modded spacebar didn't wanna go through the effort. The good thing about my keyboard is it sounds really good stock and not much mods needed
lubed my set made a world of difference.
How would you say it changed. Glarses just said that he preferred it stock so I took his word. Don't have the patience to lube anyway

how different are they from the standard ones? listening to it feels like the standard ones, only the stem is colored purple :/
Glarses explains the feel and sound of the switch in his video, but it has a really nice bump and results in a nice clack I enjoy alot.

dont worry about it. I see now its a very common factor with the community. I wanted to see a review of how they felt and almost every video that came out was just focused on the sound test. Different strokes for different folks.@@Ryan7oo
yeah you can see im not a keyboard creator haha. im not even in the community. i just ended up getting switches for the hell of it and made this video from it. thanks for watching anyway im sure there is video out there that talks about feel. the problem with talking about feel is that it requires you to have lots of experience with lots of switches to compare and all that but the thing is if it feels good then its good. if you like tactile switches than these switches will be good because, well, they are tactile. But idk what you are like if you like experimenting with new switches all the time or is just looking for one switch so. idk what im saying at this point but i hope it helped haha @@angelsaucedo2231
