Visited this beautiful city for the first time in 1991. From a guy who’s been to every major city in the U.S., I was truly impressed. Came back in 1995 on business, what I saw was shocking. Homelessness, panhandlers, illegal selling on the streets. Heartbreaking! Maynard and the Dems ruled this city throughout the 90s. Who ruined this city?
While claiming that it was a " City Too Busy To Hate " was something which was repeated by Maynard Jackson but originally stated by previous white Mayors, another thing they had in common was selective memory loss, in that, not only was it the birthplace of the 2nd Klan era from 1915-1944, Atlanta was also the birthplace of the 3rd Klan era from 1946-present.
