Heres survival tips i use:
•if you burn all your wood at once, no matter how many logs you put in it will all burn quite shortly. Keep your wood a safe distance from your fire and only burn a few logs at a time to prolong you fire life.
•planks burn longer than rotten logs, so prioritize those
°large plank - top priority
°small plank - high priority
°rotten wood - low priority
°sharp stick - no priority/use for other means
• to avoid spilling coconut milk stab a hole with a knife in one of the 3 dents at the top then you can drink it like a canteen.
•stricking a flint/rock on steel is much more effective then just using 2 rocks.
•using a flintlock pistol you can start a fire with the press of a trigger by aiming the flintlock mechanism at the kindling.
•Edible food in the jungle is scarce so i suggest bringing coconut bits in a container "like a clam shell" with you for emergancies
•after drinking the milk of a coconut you can roast the fruit on a fire to enhance its nutrition.
•hitting a crab with a flint/rock is much easier then a knife or sharp stick

some tips about the knife that can help you out.
the knife can be used for harvesting the meat of the creatures you kill with your flintlock.
it can also be used for stabbing a small hole into coconuts to drain the liquid by itself, reducing spillage and allowing you to drink easier.

You can use the flintlock if it's not loaded as a fire starter by cocking it back and flicking it and the knife you can use to crack open the Coconuts without losing all the water from it by stabbing one of the holes
