You're incredibly gorgeous! In Chinese medicine, the skin is a reflection of your emotions. When people suppress their emotions, they can break out. Breathwork really helps people get in touch with their emotions that they might not even know are there, and it works in a way where the emotion is just let go, you don't have to actually feel the pesky emotions. Breathwork in this way can also balance your hormones.
Love this!
Do you have any recommendations on where to start with breathwork?
I appreciate this advice so much!!
Love your perspective on getting to the root cause and heal your hormones through food. You got this! So sorry that your experience hasn't been pleasant at the doctors, I totally feel you!
very excited to eventually be in tune with my body again hahah
Thank you for sharing. I and a lot of other women can definitely relate to not feeling like doctor’s listen. It’s very frustrating.
I’m your age and stopped birth control last year and had hormonal acne too!! It was so horrible, I get the not wanting to vlog bc I truly have no photos of my life in that time. Just know you aren’t alone in feeling that way & tons of us are/have went through that process.
Also to your point of doctors I’m a nurse and 1000000% agree they all just blow off our problems (most) and it’s so discouraging.
soo many of us relate to this exact experience it's wild!
I highly recommend checking out the Medical Medium books and info in general when it comes to healing any issues with food! I literally healed all my digestive and skin issues in 6 months just with the right cleanses and foods ❤️ I was also on birth control for 10+ years and my skin went absolutely crazy when I stopped.. but now it’s all back to normal, even better than before ☺️ loved this video as always Blake 🥰🤗
amazinggg thanks for the tip!!
@@BlakeSwansonLifestyle you’re welcome! Let me know if you have any questions about that 🥰 I’m happy to help xx
Really enjoyed watching this vlog!
im soo glad thank you!
Hi hi hi 🥰 loved your vlog!
I’ve been doing my own nails at home too and LOVE DND &DC! You should be able to get on behind polish as well, I find they last longer than any other brand!
You were cracking me up with the hair rollers! Also please update us on the OPI polishes!
omg i was shocked at how hard it was LOLL
Hi Blake! Have you tried seeing a functional medicine doctor? I was in a similar situation and my functional doctors were able to help me.
Trust me getting off BC was amazing for my mental health in the long run!!! You got this
omg this is soooo good to hear
Where was that reallyyy cute breakfast spot
cafe landwer!
Okay this is so crazy, but I have almost the EXACT same story as you and now my acne is finally starting to clear up!
I got off estrogen due to ocular migraines as well and then I started the middle pill (?, we call it that in Sweden) which has Desogestrel. Then I gradually started breaking out. It got to a point where it was more then I could take, so I spoke to a doctor. She said that usually, your skin gets used to the new sebum production the birth control causes and since I had been on it for over a year it should be regulated already. So I decided to stay on the birth control since I otherwise love how I feel on it + that I don't get my period.
She recommended I buy a cream containing benzoyl peroxide which is scientifically proven to kill the bacteria causing acne and let me tell you, THAT SHIT HELPED QUICKLY! So highly recommend. Other than that I started being more gentle with the skin. Not washing it in the morning, never poking/popping the pimples, hydrating plenty and switching to very minimalistic cleansers/creams. Now obviously idk if this is curing the root cause but perhaps there is nothing wrong with my hormones, maybe I just had too much of this bacteria on my skin.
I know it feels like you're never going to get rid of it but trust the process and know that no one even notices it
