Valdivia is wonderful, maybe the best quality of life you can find south of Santiago, excepting Chiloe

Visita los fuertes en Niebla, isla Mancera y Corral, son totalmente gratuitos, imperdible.

Jardín Botánico
Parque Saval (con sus lagunas de Lotos)
Parque El Bosque
Parque Harnecker
Parque Santa Inés
Hacia la costa tienes el Parque Oncol.
Creo que tendrás que volver.

I am happy you enjoyed my city, btw the first brewery was built by Carl Anwandter in 1852, the Botanical Garden exists very long, many years before the founding of the Universidad Austral. Keep promoting this beautiful town

En Valdivia en 1960, ocurrió un cataclismo de 9.5 Richter, que duró casi 10 minutos, luego el tsunami monstruoso, que cruzó todo el Pacífico, ocasionando muertes en Hawai y Japón.Nasa reportó en su momento, una alteración del eje del planeta a causa de ese terremoto
Y alli está ahora esa ciudad, bella y acogedora

@@JonGrossGringo gracias a ese terremoto Valdivia dejó de ser una ciudad industrial y pasó a ser una ciudad turística, de cierta forma es bueno por el medio ambiente pero malo para la gente que busca trabajo.

Es una gran ciudad, Yo tuve la oportunidad de ir el año pasado y es genial, Lo más hermoso fue ir a conocer el puerto de corral y niebla, Quien tenga la oportunidad de ir por favor vayan no se arrepentirán

We found a place that had great beer in Valdivia, on Isla Teja, called The Growler. Their fish & chips was pretty delicious too! I cannot wait to return!

Hoy vivo en Santiago , pero hace un tiempo atras viví dos años en esa hermosa ciudad y recorrí cada lugar que muestras en tu video , es la ciudad mas hermosa de Chile , gracias por visitarla y hablar tan bien de ella , habría agradecido eso sí una traducción , subtítulos o algo , en Español por supuesto
Sólo tienes que activar el subtitulo, porque los tiene en español.

I said in the past you should start your own travel business, maybe you can do it part time and with your friends. Specially when schools off. You need to make a video of Frutillar in the south. The German influences is incredible. In Canada is Peachland and it looks a lot like Frutillar

Hola Chile-Gringo Valdivia is a great place last time I went there was 2004 I stayed an my cousins house & we drunk lots of cool cervezas & we had loads of sea food if u go with a group of people go to a restaurante & ask for Pichanga is loads of Empanadas sea food meats carne asada is very nice to try out with a group of friends. Que lo pasen bien y que no pasen mucho frío por que como es invierno en Chile ahora y están en el sur del país más frío allá. Ok compadre have a great time my regards to your family chao pescao.

Valdivia es una de las ciudades fundacionales de Chile, muy antigua, muy importante. Hasta el terremoto de 1960, fue el motor económico del sur de Chile.

I see u all visited my home town last year.. Amazing city and natural places.. The best beer in Chile and exported abroad was made here in 1851, by the German Family settler Karl August Wilhelm Paschen Anwandter Fick : he founded Anwandter Brewery Co.

My wife's from there...spent quite a bit of time in the area. Definitely visit Niebla, Manceras, and Corral. The fort system is neat. Also Curinanco which is an awesome coastal park. You can catch buses in town to Niebla or Curinanco
