You seem to have a decent amount of food conscious people in the US, who have enough money to spend on organic food but you don t have access to cheap land. Here in Russia we have dirt cheap access to hundreds of acres but a really tiny percentage of people who are really willing and financially able to pay for organic food.
Judging by photos of their farm on Instagram, I believe they leave their plastic on all summer. Some farmers opt to replace the plastic with shade cloth for cool weather crops.
They named their farm Ten Mothers based on an old saying that refers to garlic. They all love eating and cooking with garlic, so they thought it a fitting name for their farm. :)
my friend was in Redding CA and talking to a lady at the natural foods store- and a lady told him she knew of the Ten Mother’s Farm…googled it…here I am

No one's buying so it's cheap. When they find much more buyers, farmland won't be so cheap anymore.
Hey guys, I’m just wondering do you take the plastic off in the summer or do you keep it on and water?

Why have they kept the name Ten mothers. Farming is a collective work. Otherwise you start feeling lonely.

Did your mother hurt you?
