Spot on. I have always had a very masochistic streak. I used to cut whenever I did something I felt was wrong, usually when I said something I didn't mean or was being the "bitchy" Venus in Virgo, I can definitely agree I can be way too picky with other people but it ultimately stems from my own self-hatred. When this energy is used negatively I feel like there's a desire to make everyone else hate themselves as much as I hate myself. I know that sounds morbid but it's true and there's a lot of guilt associated with that because at the end of the day we really do blame everything on ourselves. It's a very painful placement and I really never believe I am deserving of love. I've had a big problem with anorexia and I'm always comparing my physical body and myself in general to everyone else. I tend to care what other people think about me way too much. I have venus virgo 4th house that is squaring my moon in scorpio 7th house and growing up was brutal with the feeling of unworthiness, which was exacerbated by the bad relationship that I had with my mother. I starting cutting myself at 12 years old which lead to other self destructive behavior and it became worse with each passing year. Eating disorders, severely destructive relationships, promiscuity, I was trying to find love and acceptance through sex and countless other risky and dangerous behaviors that evolved due to the aspects of this energy, however, as I went through each experience and was able to overcome each of the horrible situations, this aspect also lead to an overwhelming desire to turn around this destructive behavior by performing service to others. In doing this, the energy shifted and instead of self loath, self love became automatic just by giving love and serving others and leaving ego behind. I strongly urge any soul with this placement to either perform some type of humanitarian service and or develop a spiritual practice that will heal you from the inside out. Even though I can definitely recognize it in the way I love, but when I first started studying my chart, this was the only placement that I was like, uh wut. And this video explains some of the confusion and struggle with this placement. I don't know if other people noticed, but Virgo in general seems to be the most unpopular sign. No one likes their Virgo, whatever the planet you've got in there you'll have a harder time accepting it than anything else in your chart. Most Virgos I know always say they wish they were some other sign. It's like the Virgo side of us is always something we're rejecting and distancing ourselves from. I definitely am hard on myself when it comes to failing at things and I do have quite a big issue with my appearance. I'm not a bitch at all. I pride myself on that. But in a certain relationship I was trying to change him. Of course, to me it was how he could improve on himself because I strive to do that all the time (Mercury and Mars in Scorpio energies methinks). But it wasn't helpful and I have learned from that. I have venus virgo 4th house that is squaring my moon in scorpio 7th house and growing up was brutal with the feeling of unworthiness, which was exacerbated by the bad relationship that I had with my mother. I starting cutting myself at 12 years old which lead to other self destructive behavior and it became worse with each passing year. Eating disorders, severely destructive relationships, promiscuity, I was trying to find love and acceptance through sex and countless other risky and dangerous behaviors that evolved due to the aspects of this energy, however, as I went through each experience and was able to overcome each of the horrible situations, this aspect also lead to an overwhelming desire to turn around this destructive behavior by performing service to others. In doing this, the energy shifted and instead of self loath, self love became automatic just by giving love and serving others and leaving ego behind. I strongly urge any soul with this placement to either perform some type of humanitarian service and or develop a spiritual practice that will heal you from the inside out. For me it was charity work and I gravitated to the Hindu philosophies. Thank you Mr. Harrison for your insight. This video has truly helped me to understand this energy and I'm more determined than ever to love and accept my TRUE self.

This is seriously the only placement in my chart that makes no sense to me. Even though I can definitely recognize it in the way I love, but when I first started studying my chart, this was the only placement that I was like, uh wut. And this video explains some of the confusion and struggle with this placement.
I don't know if other people noticed, but Virgo in general seems to be the most unpopular sign. No one likes their Virgo, whatever the planet you've got in there you'll have a harder time accepting it than anything else in your chart. Most Virgos I know always say they wish they were some other sign. It's like the Virgo side of us is always something we're rejecting and distancing ourselves from. While some other signs are so popular, people being all "I'm a Leo" or Scorpio or whatever HAIRFLIP, etc.

I definitely am hard on myself when it comes to failing at things and I do have quite a big issue with my appearance. I'm not a bitch at all. I pride myself on that. But in a certain relationship I was trying to change him. Of course, to me it was how he could improve on himself because I strive to do that all the time (Mercury and Mars in Scorpio energies methinks). But it wasn't helpful and I have learned from that. Thanks so much, I feel very certain you have been around someone with this energy. And I feel super empathetic for what you have probably gone through with them, it seems reflected in your search for words during the video. Also the realization of how damaging the energy can be is very motivating. It could be partly because of a sense of being an extra person who is unimportant and possibly even self loathing b/c of an unbearable level of care which is self defeating. It can be even more isolating once you've been exploited a few times by others and begin to think you can't trust anyone and must subject them to investigation. But I also feel heard and really respect and enjoy these videos.
My Virgo Venus forms a square to my Mars in Sag which is finally turning out to be a good thing b/c I take fun seriously enough to make very detailed plans to observe it without a hitch. I could talk to you about the feeling like a side-lined loser part of Virgo-Sag square but its clear you might be well aware. Also I live in an area where my Uranus and Mars lines run right through. So that's fun. What I'm taking away from this video is the potential root of the extra person stance, and deciding to make clearer rules for help-giving, and the "sell short" remark.

venus in aries/scorp is def tougher than virgo in so many ways (trust me my venus is in the house of aries, not the easiest to kill my ego/self-centeredness lols...) but virgo's def a challenging placement in its own right - each sign has its challenges each sign has its beautiful contribution to the whole :) it's important to show those you love just how much you love them!!! & often :)

No, I feel his empathy for this placement. I know someone with this placement, and this video really helped me understand his pain on a much deeper level. Virgo is hard to read, with that Pisces axis going on. This placement can be depressing if you let it. But my friend has figured out how to use his, he is Chiron incarnate. Medic in the middle east in 2006-07 then major ptsd, depression and addiction took over until his Saturn return, but even before that he excels at his job as a personal trainer at a crossfit.
