I am in foreign country as I type this, they are so many Zimbabweans and Nigerians holding south African ID's.

When I went overseas, I met a lot of people holding South African passports while they were not South African. South Africa has suffered a lot due to the lack of control of Citizenship documentation. Am happy its finally being taken seriously. unfortunately, there will be inconveniences of individuals, but the bigger picture is appreciated.
Its all due to corruption and it wont stop....if you can buy a SA passport...why not ???

we, the non-white South Africans, particularly blacks, suffered a lot! It is impossible to forget APARTHEID and for me MADIDA was captured as we should have made the whites to pay for what they did! I can't believe how corrupt, incompetent and stupid is ANC, while it had all ingredients for not allowing a white based Party to win anything in this country! Unfortunately ANC is abusing us as it knows the opposition Parties are a disgrace with no focus, and only attacking PHALA PHALA (EFF, ATM, MDM, DA). DA is a white based party with HELEN ZILLE still being racist, so voting them will be the return of APARTHEID. There is no better option: VOTE ANC!

Any foreign national can acquire an identity document, given they've lived in that country for a minimum required to get citizenship.
The document will state " South African citizen and also born in Botswana,Lesotho Mozambique, Zimbabwe etc.

Even with DNA confirmation and a court order DHA officials ignore you unless you buy your ID like what foreigners do, getting an ID within 2 weeks from landing in SA
May you advise why?
Minister Motswaledi himself said DNA is not a requirement for birth registration and ID issuance "but it helps".
Even if you got DNA confirmation they ask for other things like affidavits from teachers, induna etc and when you present them they say the docs are fraudulent or you just bribed induna, teacher etc and refuse to accept them.
Even if you get a high court order, they ignore it and you are forced to apply for contempt of court order. It cost my cousin 70k and 7 years before they grudgingly gave her her ID. She could have just bought it for far less like what foreigners do
