Fast Blues Lick in E
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 лип 2024
- bitly.com/mastergtr Here's a fun 16th note blues lick in E. It sounds cool to go into 16th note lines sometimes, when you're soloing over a shuffle. Scales used: E minor blues scale mixed with E Mixolydian.
Gear: I used a Hagstrom Swede with Porter Pickups from www.porterpickups.com
I used a Line 6 POD HD500X, straight into the computer via USB.

Tastefully thought of .... I dig it. I was just noodling around with the E major, and this lick will complement to what I am doing. Your tutorials are the best. Thanks, Robert.

+Robert Renman Nice little lick. darn that sounds like a French Canadian accent. Hello from Hamilton Ontario.
Trent Hogan I'm Swedish
OH! But you live in Canada correct?
+Trent Hogan yes Alberta
Just realized your truss cover says Swede. lol Thanks for the lick. I got it but it took me a good 30 minutes to get the feel correct. You gotta get those initial Hammer-ons & pull-offs nice and clean and evenly timed. Great little riff.
+Trent Hogan The model is a Swede.
I don't get it , if you are in the key of E, then shouldn't u be using the B mixolydian not the E mixolydian?
+jake schleifer Key of E, meaning it's played over a blues in E, over the chord E7. It's blues, man! No one would say "let's play a blues in B major" but they meant the first would E7. Hope that makes sense.
what tempo you at robert?
where are the tabs on your page for this lesson?

Zeus bless you
Tab?
Why do you say minor third and minor seven shouldn't it b3 and b7?
+Jonas Holtemann Frederiksen thank you.
Musicians often use the word flat or sharp but for the correct names, see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interval_(music)#Main_intervals
It doesn't matter at all which naming convention you use though - the notes will be the same.
Cool lick(s), but you're playing mostly major pentatonic with an emphasis on a superimposed E Dom7th arpeggio on top...
Why do you include the word "but", there? Are you trying to minimize his talent, or impresss us with your knowledge?
Either way, your comment was insulting and not necessary, bud.
