If you want to catch some monster ones go to the dam down in dumas. during mid spring

@AwfulAngler there is no season for them down there. Mid spring is when they start to come up to the dam. The daily limit is 2 paddle fish.

A quick google says the season on the Arkansas River is Dec-April. i was on the St Francis where the season ended in Feb, apparently.

You might be right. The last time I looked through the game and fish book it didn't have a season. It might have changed
