@termonostrumanhow do you mean they took to long, obviously you didn't see what had to be done 😂😅 practically replaced every panel and had to source the parts, 😂😅 all the best
In 1970 You could do alot worse than a Dodge Charger RT Deep gloss Stefans gain is the crushers loss He's paid the cost to be the boss At the finish line he'll be first to cross A Diamond outa swiss cheese Many years of work is no breeze Nick and Robert are doing a breakdown Planning the various installations of the parts labouriously found and strategically placed around Robert knows where everything goes his fuel line modifications illustrate his qualifications He's all about improving classic cars more technical innovations like their fuel delivery situations Nick is putting up a fight workin day and night he's always makin sure it's being put together right He's doing what he loves Torquing the structural pieces in tight No detail overlooked that's why he's overbooked Nick's Garage every Monday where muscle car recipes get cooked Thanks Nick and George Robert and Manny
One piece at a time. Every part, no matter how big or how small is as important as the rest and I know you will treat them all the same. Cheers to all involved in this epic build. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from Edmonton
If I was Steffan, I would request autographs of all hands on the inside of the trunk lid. This is an amazing come back for a " roached out" vehicle. It required a full team of craftsmen. It's nice to see Leo back, I see myself at that age and appreciate his dedication to learning from his elders.✨
Nick, Manny, and Robert are world class builders. Not to many people will take on such a tremendous task of reviving a car like this. This car will be the one to remember for ages to come. Can't wait to see it run and drive. Stephan is a lucky man.
Nick's Garage is the only place to go. Awesome job and love seeing it being assembled piece by piece. So very cool. Thank you for sharing the adventure with us and can't wait to see the next installment on Black Diamond.
Nick it's like giving birth to a baby The Black Diamond 💎. Seriously a remarkable feat of engineering Project. Nick and his boys are remarkable people with years of extensive historical knowledge in the automotive industry. For real this build brought tears to my eyes 😭 considering these men took rusty pieces and made something beautiful 😍. Truly a God given talent 👼. And a special thanks to George for this film 🎥 documentary in the making ❤
Good evening!!! Man, this thing is breathtaking ALREADY!!! I have a feeling that when Stefan sees the completed masterpiece, he won't know whether to laugh, cry, holler, run, etc 😅. We're all privileged to watch this A team work, with the master videographer/camera man, George, capturing every golden moment!!! KUDOS, BRAVO, and whatever other words fit, and great week to you all!!!
Nice to see the team doing a step by step process on what it takes to get such beautiful cars to the customers! But with Nick and his crew I feel the real attention to detail! Great job to all involved and for George for letting us see it!
BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL!!! This car is simply breath taking, and it's barely even together yet. Nick and his team do such professional work and have a sense of pride in what they do and it shows. Nobody better to do the Black Diamond!
The design of the Charge is the most beautiful Car ever made.....The name BLACK DIAMOND is eye popping black = WOW......l am so happy that Stefan is so pleased with it......Thanks Nick,Robert,Manny and George + all...... Old F-4 pilot Shoe🇺🇸
Awesome paint job! That black is like a mirror! I've often wondered what happened to the 70 R/T I bought in 1975 with 21k miles on it. I sold it in 1978 to pay for college tuition, had just under 50K miles. Previous owner had rust proofed it, I refreshed it in 1975. They were prone to rust, but when I sold it there was zero rust. Can't wait to see the finished ride. 👍
It's going to see Leo again!! Nick, you and your guys are the best!! I worked on autos and other equipment for more than 32 years. I love this channel!!
Some people want to go to Rome and sight see art work visit the Vatican. Me I want to go to Nicks Garage !!!! There craftsmanship is Art work to me !!! 440 six pack cmon it don’t get any better ! And seeing the client’s excitement OMG !!!! Go Black Diamond gooooooooo
Thanks for showing us the process here. There’s so much going on in a build like this, it’s incredible to see it come together. I’m very happy for Stephan. I had the chance to meet him at the summer bbq, what a solid dude. Really enjoying seeing this happen for him.
What a beauty to see this transformation is a sight to behold and a testament to Nick and his guys and vendors literally the best in the world. I remember my mom's 68 charger she got in 1975 when I was ten years old. I asked if the car would be mine when I turned 16 my parents told me you get good grades and do the chores I'm asked to do with out being asked then maybe. My mom had the car 2 years and it was stolen never to be seen again.
I was never a Charger fan but "Black Dimond"has changed my mind, there is a gentleman that lives here in Jackson michigan that has a 69 Charger all black in and out with the red tail strips and whiter letter Goodyear tires on steel rims and white letter tires.
I would assume Stephan got really teary eyed and choked up….off camera, that is. Believe me, I’d be choked up. Thanks for sharing and I will stay tuned.
This is so exciting. I think we all have been looking forward to this moment. Bravo guys you are doing a great job on the Black Diamond, thanks for great coverage of this George!
Another brilliant job underway with Nick and the boys. When she is done she will be better than factory fresh. Stefan picked the best shop to build his Charger. Nick and the boys know their Mopars like nobody else!!! ❤❤❤
Hi Nick and crew....Yes that includes George too. I have been away for a while. The last time I was here the body shop was working on old swiss cheese and today it is being transformed in to the Black Diamond. Looks awesome so far guys.
Thanks for the great video that charge is going to be the nicest 70 RT in the world and that's for real Dodge only dreamed they would just be this beautiful have a great day wow that thing is fantastic
So nice! When I was young in 1985, my coworker offered me first choice to buy his one owner 68 B5 blue charger 440 RT with pistol grip and vinyl top for $5,500. My first child was one the way, so I had to pass…. Picking family over the car. Never regretted that as she grew up and made me proud with a family of her own. Right car, wrong time for me.
Stephan it's well worth the wait. What a beauty now from a rust bucket. George and his guys have excelled on the body and paint. Now Nick, Robert and Manny will do their magic! George as always thanks for showing us the rebuild, man! 😁👍
Nick you guys are hauling some real butt here putting the charger back together . Of course one video of car being delivered and another with the engine in and the bumper and grill etc makes it look like we blinked and cars nearly together ! This car as well as Eugene's 500 will be the pinnacle accomplishment of Nick's Garage .
Glad to see this jewel getting saved by passionate builders. Hard to place a value on a car like this and I hope Stephen enjoys many years of enjoyment driving this beauty.
An additional comment or two would be that this car is a full-blown magazine and video feature vehical . I mean clearly no charger ever looked as pristine as this black diamond does and underneath just as beautiful. I'm not sure if Stephan should drive this car . Museum quality right here at Nick's Garage ...Holy smokes ..
Wow Nick you and the A Team have your work cut out but your doing this like the professionals you are and George that filming is tops. Stephan you are one lucky guy, thanks for letting the A Team restore this ride.
Wow. Absolutely great charger save and rebuild the wrap around bumper is sweet. Love it. Would love to do a wrap around bumper and fastback conversion window from the Daytona if I can find a decent enough charger to start on........ If not, building a pinto. 😊
Love seeing this car going back together, I have to say your cups are made of great quality I have a crazy shop cat that likes to knock stuff over she knocked over my cup of coffee this morning and the cup did not break when it hit the concert floor.
Giasou Nikola, Great to talking to you last week, take a long overdue holiday after finishing this gorgeous Charger & come to a Aussie Summer & we will cruise from Melbourne to Adelaide & back to Melbourne in my 1970 Mopar Hardtop along The Great Ocean Road just google Great Ocean Road Victoria / Australia in a Aussie Hemi Six. Your workmanship from everyone is a marvel that this Charger gets a second chance. Well done Nikola, Manny & Robert you are one lucky dude Stefan. See you soon Nikola. Cheers Louis Kats your number 1 Fan in Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺 🇨🇦 🇬🇷 👍
Stephan was lucky that he brought his charger to a shop with passion and a very fussy assembler with Mopar knowledge and contacts to get it done.
...he said not a care in the world...hahaha ...good stuff...
Wow, I remember when that car was towed in. I can't believe it's been 3 years!!! Time flies.
thye took too much time to do it...
I agree, if they hadn't have said it I would've thought one & a half to two years.
@termonostrumanhow do you mean they took to long, obviously you didn't see what had to be done 😂😅 practically replaced every panel and had to source the parts, 😂😅 all the best
Nick's Rocking the web with this BLACK DIAMOND !!!
Its more like Black vinil.
“Out on the streets for a Livin’…”
I can’t be the only KISS fan here??!?

It is a real blessing to watch and listen to you guys methodically put this jewel back together.
I guess gold metal flake with a black roof must be second best.
One piece at a time. Every part, no matter how big or how small is as important as the rest and I know you will treat them all the same. Cheers to all involved in this epic build. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from Edmonton
You’re right about those little details. Cheers from the garage!
This is so freekin good. You guys rock giving us these first person views on building one of the coolest cars to ever exist. Thanks
I just can't get over that paint! Every time the camera lovingly caresses' it I'm astounded at how flawless it looks!
If I was Steffan, I would request autographs of all hands on the inside of the trunk lid. This is an amazing come back for a " roached out" vehicle. It required a full team of craftsmen.

Holy crap , it's going to be beautiful. Nice work, everyone!!

That is one slick black paint job I noticed that everything reflecting in the paint is so clear George's one heck of a auto body repairman
He sure is

Welcome back Robert
fOR ME the magic moment is when engine starts working, i love assemble and repair engines
This has to rank near the top of the most labor intensive car restorations of all time. The results speak for themselves!
Black is absolutely the best color on 68-70 Chargers,
What a beauty to see this transformation is a sight to behold and a testament to Nick and his guys and vendors literally the best in the world. That’s a cool ride.
In san Francisco there's a black 69, totally restored about 8 years ago, the owner died two years ago, and it's just sitting in the garage now

He's really excited about this build.
So nice! When I was young in 1985, my coworker offered me first choice to buy his one owner 68 B5 blue charger 440 RT with pistol grip and vinyl top for $5,500. Gorgeous car and I pray that I’m still around to hear that 440 roll that black beauty down the street. Great work
We’ll do our best to make that happen.
An additional comment or two would be that this car is a full-blown magazine and video feature vehical . I mean clearly no charger ever looked as pristine as this black diamond does and underneath just as beautiful. I'm not sure if Stephan should drive this car . Absolutely.
Great job guys, looks like a million bucks! ❤

Wow Nick you and the A Team have your work cut out but your doing this like the professionals you are and George that filming is tops. Stephan you are one lucky guy, thanks for letting the A Team restore this ride.
What a great Team you are!👍❤️
Kalimera palikari. Wow is all I can say. Greetings from Adelaide Australia
Thanks Steve. Glad to see you.
Beautiful Charger.
Right on.
Wow. Absolutely great charger save and rebuild the wrap around bumper is sweet. Love it. Would love to do a wrap around bumper and fastback conversion window from the Daytona if I can find a decent enough charger to start on........ If not, building a pinto. 😊
I like how Chrysler used the K frame to mount the steering box on, instead of the chassis frame that is lighter / thinner steel.
Love seeing this car going back together, I have to say your cups are made of great quality I have a crazy shop cat that likes to knock stuff over she knocked over my cup of coffee this morning and the cup did not break when it hit the concert floor.
Right on!
Nice camera work ,George.
Thanks, man!
Wow guys! I can’t believe the transformation and its not done yet!
George, you really need to do a video that shows the car before and then after it’s done
