For some reason I imagined the queen jogging into the center of the circle with a British flag shirt, boxing shorts, boxing gloves and shadow boxing to the song.
@Talietjepietje @neddonovan this is being played outside of Wellington Barracks. the band of the Palace guards often perform out in the parade grounds. As they are not in Ranks it tends to suggest this is more of an informal show so probably not actually the changeing of the guard
The Canadian Ceremonial Guard played this song for their drill team back in 06 ;) look up GGFG Drill Team. Should show up. Its a great piece of music none the less sounds great from a Military band.
when they were standing in a circle, i always thought that there was a secret rocket silo inside the circle, and that at the end, a rocket would launch, on the side of the rocket was the union jack
@lgmmrm How about because We do not care where the music is from and They still manage to pull it off with different instruments in open air and no equipment other than the instruments?
@zman569 Will you indeed? If you've got the balls, you know where I live. It's the big white building on the video. I'll look forward to seeing you. LOL!
Actually @igmmrm all guardsmen are regular soldiers and the different guards regiments alternate royal/ceremonial duties. The guards regularly deploy to war zones like Afghanistan. If your going to comment get your facts right and most of all show some fucking respect
@ta400 True, I was misinformed by my dad yesterday but the union flag actually references to both the brits and the union side of the civil war so yea your right but still davidgaming100 had his facts off because it is both, so kyawmawthu wasn't wrong
Good show! Here is the Band of the Ceremonial Guard from Canada playing it as well! There is a changing of the guard each summer in Ottawa by members of the Canadian Armed Forces. ua-cam.com/video/CyRoswuAAwI/v-deo.html
@lgmmrm The joke's on you, mate - "The Final Countdown" is by a Swedish Band - EUROPE! Do your research before you go on a rant - or even better: SOD OFF!
I notice that most of people's comments are about how stupid the American bands are etc. etc. i don't think even you people believe what you are saying... you are simply make an argument using something that isn't always true... I'm sure there are shitty bands in England just like there are in America.. don't hate on the bands hate the person who was an idiot and said your band was stupid.. I love the royal guard personally but i also love our military bands in America please be respectful
@blondewithattitud100 They're just jealous. American's can't laugh at themselves and don't have a sense of humour. They're just jealous of both our humour and our traditions.
I love it when the Royal Guards do stuff like this. Just shows how cool they actually are. Great song choice :)
Hahah! You've got to love these guardsmen. Amazing song to play too.
I now officially love the British Royal Guard.
XD They get to play awesome music.
For some reason I imagined the queen jogging into the center of the circle with a British flag shirt, boxing shorts, boxing gloves and shadow boxing to the song.

@doomezday Seems Britiain is an example for the rest of the Commonwealth: I heard it by Canadian Grenadier Guards in Ottawa years ago...

It's called the union flag when flown on land, or the union jack when flown on ships at sea.
Great song!
Impresionante saludos desde Valencia España

This is why no other military in the world can live up to that of the British armed forces.
@DavidGaming100 the Union Jack is the brit's flag, the union flag is USA's flag YOU look up the difference ...

@Taurexor Är du hedrad för att sången gjordes av några från samma område som dig?
@07navyblue
Yes, I'm sure the fifes and drums of a Secondary School marching band sound so much better.
British Spirit
