So, what kind of marine animals do you think they might add? I think maybe Mosasaurus Plesiosaurs Pliosaurus Basilosaurus Durodon Megalodon Dunkleosteous Maybe Koolosuchus perhaps?
If semi-aquatic animals were to be included too, I can easily imagine creatures like Deinosuchus, Sarchosuchus, Spinosaurus, Hesperornis, Titanoboa, and Ambulocetus being nice additions for Prehistoric Kingdom.
This game does make you think "Would it be cool if the Disney Imagineers were to reimagine DinoLand USA at Animal Kingdom into a prehistoric land that is like this game?" Though the only problem is people would see it as a Jurassic Park rip-off.
No hate here, but Jurassic World Evolution is one of my favorite games. I don't really care if the designs are scientifically accurate or not, since the Jurassic franchise never really was. However, I usually prefer scientific accuracy, and everything in here looks great.
I think the Jurassic Park franchise kind of zigzags on the whole accuracy department. On one hand, the first Jurassic Park movie pushed the boundaries for how revolutionary and realistic dinosaur portrayals can be… at least for the 90’s. So that part can be acknowledged, as Red Raptor Writes stated. Yet, the movie and original novel also took some artistic license, like Deinonychus antirrhopus being a species of Velociraptor and the Dilophosaurus naturally spitting venom. And as everyone points out, both the books and films involve the already-unpredictable dinosaurs being unnaturally altered due to the genetic hybridization. The JW franchise is now trying to toe the line between maintaining the continuity/style with the older films, while also using the plot point of genetic power, as an in-universe explanation for new accuracies being incorporated (like the Pyroraptor having feathers).
Well no because prehistoric kingdom takes 10,000,000 hours to build something nice in Jurassic world evolution (same with the sequel) its easy and quick so neither are better they both are good at different things so it’s really what am I in the mood for today.
What about the behaviors? do they migrate? do they play with each other? How to the Predators hunt? do they stalk their preys? do they chase or run away? None of these games (even JWE) are going to match up to JPOG, because JPOG although primitive is the only one that try to simulates behaviors really well.
I loved how in JPOG, they made different behaviors for each disease. For Bumblefoot they limped, Dino Flu they sneezed, rabies was seizures and rampages etc. Such an amazing level of detail.
@@redraptorwrites6778 sorry if I come across all cynical, typed up that comment quickly during lunch. Don't get me wrong, Prehistoric Kingdom looks great so far, the models are beautiful and the park building tools and dinosaur editing is extremely detailed. I realized to that this game is in its early stages, but so far it's already have crazy amount of mechanics coded in, so I'm sure that is next on their to do list. But I can't emphasize the behaviors thing enough....I'm just afraid developers for these Tycoon games are missing one VERY important factor in making these "zoo" games fun and that is watching your animals doing animal things JWE disappointed me so much being a triple A game and feeling so soul-less because they can't make the dinosaurs behave more dynamically.

How do you create a microraptor in Prehistoric Kingdom? It says I have 100% species completion but when I go into genetics lab I can’t find it anywhere. Help!!!
It’s odd in how it currently works, you don’t even need any nursery in order to breed mini exhibit animals, the only requirement is selecting on a mini exhibit and simply selecting “breed micro/archaeo”. That begs the question, if their not getting them from the nursery, where are they getting them from?
I don't complain about their accuracy. I complain about their ugliness and previous lack of behaviors. Notice how I never bash JWE on shrinkwrapping, lack of feathers, or pronated wrists.
The labor of love they have put into this game over the years is what makes it worth the wait.

The mammoths were rather disappointing as they have no personality aside from just walking around. At least that’s my opinion.
