You are making a mistake in teaching that God has given us a gift of longsuffering. Longsuffering is one of various trials God walks with us through if you invite Him to come along with you.
There is a fruit of God Holy Spirit though, namely longsuffering. (Galatians 5:22)
There is a difference between a gift and a fruit.
No human being can pass the ability to patiently suffer long with self control.
It is only God Holy Spirit who gives us the gift of God Holy Spirit and the fruit of God Holy Spirit, not a human being.

By longsuffering is meant to Persevere, to endure.
God says only those who endure or persevere till the end will be saved.
Let me emphasize this, it is only God Holy who gives us the seed of endurance or perseverance or longsuffering.
And it is only Him God Holy Spirit who sees to the growth maturity wholeness and completeness of this fruit, as well as all the other fruit of God Holy Spirit.
You are making a mistake in saying longsuffering or Perseverance or endurance is a gift. The bible doesn't say so.
It is a fruit of God Holy Spirit. And like all fruit, it takes many many many years for the fruit to ripe and mature
In Hebrews God Holy Spirit says, "you need to persevere or endure or longsuffer, so that when you have done the will of God you will receive the reward promised of
God Holy Spirit gives us His divine power and His perfect Love and a sound mind or mind of Christ to persevere or to have the ability to suffer long or to endure the sufferings, when we ask God. for help to
