Thank you Dr. Aboelata for addressing long covid in depth, looking forward to more. I was referred to a paxlovid trial, it was for 21 days instead of 15, btw. I did not get in though, which was very disappointing. If it wasn't helpful, then it isn't bad news after all. Though with each year going by and long covid still controlling my life, I feel as desperate as everyone else with long covid, for a treatment. There are continued conditions that show up and digging deep, find others having the same. Wish there was one hospital or sizable clinic, in the U.S., that simply specialized in this and was a place for us to go to. With that sort of focus, answers could be found, at least to slow or reverse all this, if not a rapid cure. It's overdue!
Thank you for sharing your experience. I understand how disappointing it must have been not to get into the paxlovid trial. I'm sorry you are still struggling with long covid but i am glad to hear that you're still hopeful in finding effective treatments. I am also still hopeful that more people will take this seriously and we will have more significant advancements in understanding and treating this condition. It's important to continue advocating for resources and support in this area. Stay strong, and I hope for positive developments in your journey towards recovery.
@@RootsCommunityHealth Thank you and enjoyed the ongoing education and updates today and every video you put up. The feeding of the cows, won't repeat it all here, is so obviously problematic, unhealthy and cruel, hope legislation does occur. Thanks again!
Great discussion of types of studies, their purposes, what they can and can't show, and how theories to be tested develop from them. We should be teaching kids this stuff in elementary and high school so they can better interpret headlines that are written to attract attention rather than to accurately inform.
Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you liked the discussion. We have a team here that helps make the information digestible for many. I think that if an educator wanted to use these to teach kids in school, it might be great. I agree with you about how this would help them in media literacy while still educating them about local public health.
Absolutely! Vitamin D and sunshine, vitamin C, zinc, quercetin, good food, low sugar, exercise, supplements, chemical free cleaning products. Don't know anyone fool enough to take any more shots. The smartest took zero.
I know I felt much better while on paxlovid. My energy level was much better and went down when paxlovid ended. I suspect I have a problem with viral particles since my 2nd Pfizer healed my year long bout of LC from spring 2020 illness. My immune system is shot. I get sick every 2-6 weeks.
Hello, yes, the data from the CDC, usually include smaller islands like Puerto Rico and Guam, may not show on the screenshot, but long story short, technically yes. See here: covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#trends_weeklydeaths_select_00

Appreciate The Updates. Boost up That Immune System People 👊🏽💜💯
Best & probably only way to 'boost' the immune system is to avoid getting covid

Is there any way you a include Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and Guam in your statistics?
