- In the picturesque courtyard of the Mobilier National, Issey Miyake's Spring 2025 menswear collection took flight. Inspired by the wind, the Homme Plissé team presented airy designs that mirror the grace and movement of de Belleval’s slatted kites on carbon fiber poles swaying in the morning breeze.
This season's highlight includes roomy coats with harness details, designed to let air flow through and swell the skirts as you walk. Ingeniously crafted with hidden pockets, these coats can be rolled into a compact pack for sudden weather changes. Matching ties on pale ochre shirts, pants, and waistcoats suggest a stylish evolution in menswear.
Watch as proprietary pleated fabrics in wavy plaids and kite-inspired pieces sway with the wind, showcasing Miyake’s innovative designs.

The designs are very fashion forward. Some of the pieces were magnificent. However, the models are all so stoic. They should look like they’re enjoying the clothes because they look fun

a mix of ages among the models is necessary to reach age groups over 30, the arrogance of the models attitude can be changed in a more friendly approach

&:18, man walks like a woman wearing a dress, but the other clothes, especially those with the open sleeves, if you're buff, you can look quite butch. Too much layering, which is styling, to create that catwalk look, but that means you can's see the individual pieces properly. I think separately, the tops and bottoms are quite commercial and wearable - pleated shirts, pants, jackets, loose shapes, good for men who do not have fit bodies. It's also quite non binary, reminds me of Phoebe Philo, The Row, feminist non male gaze womenswear, billowy.

@@ayodeledavid3034 I said 1) one of the models walks like a woman 2) the looks are many pieces, tops, bottoms, vests, feathers, put together, its called styling. Most people won't wear every single piece the way its presented IRL. 3) Look at each individual shirt, pants, you will tone down the look and its not that unusual looking. 4) Individually, I find the clothes feminine and roomy in shape that hides the body inside like Phoebe Philp/the Row, thus hiding the gender of the person, therefore feminist fashion. @@Viviano_Magami It is menswear but it can also be worn by women, because it is deliberately loose in shape, long flowing lines, it is meant to look more feminine than traditional menswear clothes. Miyake and some other designers intentionally make clothes like that for soft men. Ttherefore can look like Phoebe Philo and The Row which make clothes intentionally for women who want to dress more masculine and not traditionally feminine ie feminist.
