Congress കൊടി കുത്തി വന്നിരുന്ന കാലത്ത് കേര ള ത്തോട് അവർക്ക് പുച്ഛമായിരുന്നു. വടക്കൻ ഇന്ത്യ യിലെ വോട്ട് കൊണ്ടാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ രാജ്യം ഭരിക്കുന്നതെന്നായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ ഭാവം. കേരളത്തിലെ 20 സീറ്റ്‌ അവർക്ക് നിസ്സാരമായിരുന്നു. കേരളീയർക്ക് നെഹ്‌റു കുടുംബത്തെ കാണാൻ കിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്നു. കാലം മാറി. ഇളം തലമുറയ്ക്ക് ജയിക്കാൻ ഒടുവിൽ കേരളത്തിൽ വരേണ്ടി വന്നു.
