  • If you've been following us for a while, you most probably know that we are very good friends with the Geneva Watchmaking School.
Next year, the School will celebrate its 200th birthday and as an early birthday present, it moved to a new location in Plain-les-Ouates at the end of November where it will be in the heart of quality watchmaking.
This was a project our good friend Pierre Amstutz, the Director of the School, has been working on for many many years, putting immense efforts into making it happen. A project he tackled like an entrepreneur, finding original and clever solutions was driven by the idea that it would benefit its students, provide them with the best educational conditions, help them blossom and ultimately rejoin the watchmaking family.
And just four days after students finally settled into these new premises, fatality hit hard as Pierre tragically passed away.
So, we decided to go over some of the features of the new School placement and then as a tribute to Pierre’s commitment to watchmaking education, well we will share some nice souvenirs that we gathered during these many years and there are some really cool ones.
    Viva Watchmaking, Viva Pierre! ✌🏻

Thanks for bringing to the light the unsung heroes of swiss watchmaking; without people like Mr Amstutz, who dedicated his life to it, this craft would probably not endure as it has done for centuries. I hope his name and legacy will be remembered with this school, as he deserves.
My sincere condolences for your loss.

Je veux commencer l'école avec des compétences de base. Je suis âgé, est-ce possible ?

I know a watchmaking school that can use an upgrade or two....

Well that was a serious upgrade and can’t wait to show it more in details in a few months
