I hate how they wrote Alex out. They totally ruined the progress his character mad over the years, turned him into a coward that left his wife in a letter mail after the fact.
Yea it was pretty bad. Justin Chambers didn't give them alot to work with but they could have come up with something better than him abandoning Jo rand running back to Izzie. It went against everything his character stood for.
Link is truly the one person that she can count on. Imagine if Alex ever came back (still hoping for that with just JC without KH). Link would definetely be protective over Jo.
Me neither, I didn't even watched the full episode where Alex left, it was a worst decision in the show,they built his charechter for 15 years finally got the right women, he was ready to die for her, and a end of it, he left her for Izzie, disgusting
I think this is how the shows gonna end.. All this tiny cat stories keeps going.. While elen gets alzimers and sandra oh comes n plugs her out of ventilatr . And done elen closes eyes n show ends.

Since Alex left Jo for Izzie, I feel like the writers might ruin Link and Amelia now like it’s a ticking time bomb and just recycle the Jackson/April’s storyline but this time it will be between Jo & Link.. AKA from friends to lovers. *I really really really HATE this idea btw
This is just another example of how single straight men and women can't just be friends. That "he's like my brother" crap goes right out of the window eventually. Remember, she said that about Alex at one point too.
