Camillus, NY (it’s a suburb of Syracuse, NY) I grew up there and used to dumpster dive in the back of the factory in the village of Camillus.
    (Pronounced Ka-mil-us btw)

They used to make great knives, sadly they went under in '07 and now they're Chinese made garbage.

4:30.. the tip is a wedge not a scraper..it's intended to push between to split (whatever you want to split).. it's not a scraper

That knife you're thinking of is the MIL-K-818 often known as the " Demo knife ". Camillus made the most of them from ww2 until the early 2000's.
Schrade also made a lot of them and so did Imperial.
Camillus also made a lot of pilots survival knives, MK2 combat knives, M3 trench knives, and various Bayonets.

I keep a dull chisel in my bag for " shaping, indenting , de- burring, in tight spots for remodeling. Usually wood and concrete. Great video, I'm not alone.

I was more interested in the green handled one at the back. It looks to be a left handed grind, something I need to find in one of those style knives.

So I'm watching your video today and one of the knives pops up on a local site that sells HD and Amazon returns for cheap and I won the auction. Great video just in time....got it.

You should try the Ontario chisel knife. More of an outdoors blade than a shop tool but I’ve enjoyed mine.

Have you seen the Bourbon Blade? It's from a Jason Hibbs here on UA-cam

According to Amazon, the blade is 420 Stainless Steel with a Titanium Bonded coating (hence the brand name, I suppose).

My wife says I need adult supervision to watch your channel…apparently I buy stuff that’s cool, and looks like I need it…but, actually don’t?

Any ideas why they didn't put a true full tang and striking cap? Preventing abuse maybe?

If you like a robust chisel Try the Hultafors HDC.
