Human connection is important even if you're an introvert. Don't isolate yourself. Even if you simply go for a walk and smile at people you see. Keep your thoughts healthy. Focus on what is good. Recite a chosen scripture or poem when you feel overwhelmed. When anxiety comes over you. Immediately breathe deep breaths in and out slowly to calm your body down. Give thanks. Repeat whenever it comes back. Do these things while waiting on the Lord for direction and guidance. He is there with you and loves you. Sometimes, the source of our depression can be physical and medicine is needed. God gave us things llke medicine and therapy to heal us. Seek out what is needed for you. I'm sending my love as a fellow human being who is traveling the same road in this world and experiences the same human condition. God's peace rest in your mind, your body, your soul ~
