Whenever he says "but truly, I don't wanna suffer 'till I die!" A tear slips out
You don't know how much this song means to mee! I too much relate to the lyrics. This is such a perfect cover
NGL, this is one of the best english cover of a japanese song that I've ever heard so far.
This song has become extremely comforting and helps me relieve stress, thank you for this

You deserve wayyyy more recognition that what you have. keep up the good work you helping thousands of people have a good day and life. Love you and keep it up!
Amazing singing as always! The English translation of the lyrics for this are really really well done!
This English cover is a masterpiece. I love how you translated it very well even on the trickiest part (like that part where the kanji of shiawase(happiness) and okane(money) were used).
I go into translated covers with low-ish expectations, specially with Yorushika, but man... this was an amazing experience.
This covers too good, we don't deserve Will. It's all so emotional.
WHY DID I JUST SEE THIS JUST NOW IM CRYING THIS IS SO GOOD

Love your voice so much and the lyrics holy shit
Best english cover i ever heard. Wonderful work. thanks for making such a great cover like this one.
This is a perfect example of how to translate lyrics in a cover. You’ve perfected it lad, good job :)
"Tell me can in really keep on living this life? Could i simply smile on and say "I'm fine?""
....God.
I needed this. Thanks.
Amazing song yet again, thank you for these awesome covers. Tell David thanks too, I am consistently impressed with his translations and lyrics. I'll probably be putting in a few dozen views on this myself in the next few days
Sometimes I go here just to hear the flex in the second verse and it makes my day better every time
catch me crying over this beautiful amazing cover and the stunning flow of the lyrics
1:28 That's so interesting how you translated it. In the Japanese, it's about how 幸せ(happiness) has ¥(yen) in it. Here you made a similar comparison between happy and money. The next line is unfortunate though, it just doesn't work at all. Alas, that's the limitation of translating.
Hi! I just wanted to say that I listened to this song around when it came out, and connected to it really strongly, and 3 years later this cover remains my favourite song. Wonderful performance and translyrics.
Oh dude... with how good you are at translating lyrics, it makes me long for an "As you like it" by Eve cover
Yo this is a bop
桜って言いましたか…?なんて素敵な和訳なんだ…。
Was (and still am, a little bit) having a shit time, then I listened to this. It seemed to have come at the right time. Thank you.
