During the 19th century a large numbers of Chinese community was shifted to India by the British government for tea garden labour's,coal mining ,oil mining labour..
A large society of Assam - Chinese was formed and floweished in Assam. An around estimated near about 1500 hundred's Chinese people are living in Assam.
The tragedy of Assam Makum - Chinese community fifty years India Deported thier relatives, friend's the Chinese community living the grief of separation.Its story subsumed in the larger narrative of the 1962 Indo - China war and nationalism.
Now the all of Chinese community people take Indian culture, Indian food,dress and festival also..
